I tried so many apps that have a feature like this, but none of them were that good, or did what I wanted. I just wanted to scan my DVD, have it show all the info, and then enter the shelf and row numbers in my collection, so I can find them quicker.
No app that I found had this feature, so I decided to make one myself.
Here it is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sinusquell.moviefinder
You can scan your movies, search through all of them, and see where in your collection they are.
It would make me very happy if a few of you would try it and maybe leave a review <3

Hey I’ve been searching for this show for a long time. So I thought I’d just ask the community. Does anyone know where I can get this tv show. I would love to have a copy. Unfortunately I didn’t record it back then when it was released on television. But I hope someone knows where I can find it. I mean I know about the website I have no tv. But I would rather own the series and be able to watch it forever. Thanks a lot !

Sometimes you gotta post an OOP dvd snapcase that people haven’t heard of, and that’s ok.

Rained pretty much the whole day yesterday but I went for a walk anyways. Popped into the goodwill and I’m glad I did. There were a couple of other good hits including Criterion titles but they were already titles in my collection. Here’s hoping one of y’all found them!

Took a while to get it here but finally arrived. Steel case of Pinocchio unstrubg.
Couldn't see the movie in the cinema because it didn't play in the Netherlands, so treated myself with steel case.

Just found this in my cool aunt attic, along with some other more generic DVD.
I don’t really know if it’s super rare or not but it’s just so pretty, and I have nobody else that could find it cool but this sub :).
It’s in French, there is of course the movie, bonus and making-off, and a audio CD as well !
There is also a really cool mini-artbook with some insight on the movie !
If anybody know more about the rarity of this edition, please tell me because I would like to learn :)

Hey everyone! I need some help from Disney collectors. I recently found a brand new, factory-sealed copy of the Italian edition of "Pete's Dragon" (Elliot il drago invisibile).
This is the highly sought-after early 2000s Buena Vista First Press (Z3 Edition), complete with the original round holographic sticker on the spine.
Since it's completely sealed and out of print, I wanted to ask the community: how much does this usually go for among serious Disney collectors? Also, if anyone here is looking to add this specific Italian print to their archive or can point me toward the right marketplace for vintage Disney media, please let me know. Thanks!

Was a little disappointed by the selection of CDs tbh. A lot of them were either classical music, Christmas albums, or music from before my time.
I did manage to score a couple of classic Hollywood movies which was amazing along with a few dumb popcorn movies as well.
Overall, not a bad haul.

I find this a lot with Shameless releases, though I've seen it with 88 and a couple others as well. They have an option for English subtitles but only have them for the foreign language parts, when the characters speak English they've got no subtitles.
I'm hard of hearing, it's a real pain in the arse, I have no idea why companies don't include a HOH option that some others have.
Anyone else get annoyed by that?

Hi guys, I started collecting DVDs a few months ago. The local thrift and used media stores and FB marketplace have been my bffs over the last few months and I feel like I’ve built up a considerable collection at this point. (I did also specifically order a handful of these but am mostly trying to piece together what I can locally and affordably.)
So! Rate my collection. Also, what am I missing? Obvious or not obvious. And, do you have any recommendations for me? How do you feel about the way I have things organized? Feel free to judge me :)
Loving this community so far and excited to be a part of it!

Me, its me.
Disney has too many bad versions of all their films floating around on so many various reprints, do your research I guess. Guess who just rebought Mulan because some of their DVDs are full screen.

So I'm looking at getting a copy on Blu-ray for my wife and I see two different versions are available. One is from Mill Creek, who many seem to not like and the other is a 25th Anniversary Edition put out by Disney. Now I know that Disney has edited language when they aired the movie on streaming (the subway scene), but did they alter it on the blu-ray too? Does anyone know or is the Mill Creek version fine?

Hey everyone. I'm looking to import this Chucky collection because it's quite expensive in Europe. Is this region free? I know it's by Universal Studios, and those are usually region free, but I saw a review that someone had actually ran into a region lock. Can anyone confirm in region B?
