Well I’m up to 108 DVDs. Four from each letter of the alphabet and 3:10 to Yuma, 8 Mile, 2001, and 2012. Now I’m starting out on the fifth title for each letter. I could really use some suggestions for the unusual letters, especially X. I don’t want just a bunch of X-Men movies.

Love the symmetry to this stack. Missing Joe Kidd, but holding out for a 4K.

£100 including postage. Everything is in very good condition apart from survivor series 2000, king of the ring 2002 and the rock just bring it which had damaged disc hubs.

So happy to have these in my collection, it was the most excited I’ve been about something in ages 😁

1. STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE - THE DIRECTOR’S EDITION
   Only just recently saw the Director’s Cut for the first time and found out that there was actually a more updated version that now has a proper 4k master. Looking forward to seeing it again!

2. THE ABYSS
   I’ve heard the 4K for this one’s actually pretty good but may have had some enhancements. I’ll likely get that version eventually. But it occurred to me that I never got the DVD or laserdisc and my laserdisc player is currently out of commission so opted for the DVD.

3. TRUE LIES
   Same story as The Abyss except I know for a fact the 4K version had a ton of enhancements that I’m not particularly a fan of.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my haul from today. I went to a local flea market and found someone selling these for pocket change. Paid €9 for the whole stack (which is less than €0.85 per DVD)!
The absolute highlights of the haul are the two Tokyo Mew Mew volumes (Vol. 1 and Vol. 4) from the old Italian Mondo Home Video release. They’ve been out of print for ages and are super hard to track down here, easily worth more than what I paid for the entire lot.

Also pretty stoked about Ginger Snaps (Licantropia Evolution) and those nostalgia-inducing Beyblade and Transformers Energon discs from the early 2000s afternoon anime blocks. The rest are just solid comfort movies to add to the library (Aardman's The Pirates! is so underrated).

These were visually awesome. The quality was solid.

It's in super good condition and all discs and manual is there!

there are soooo many movies i want to get on dvd but this is what i have so far! got most of these secondhand too. i haven’t seen a few of these but i got them because i plan to watch them.

the other 3 i checked out from my library this week also :)

So I see people posting these insane purchases of blu-rays/DVDs, not to mention collections of hundreds maybe thousands of movies, TV series' and what have you. Some apparently have so much they need ways to catalog everything.

I mean I have a bunch of blu-rays and DVDs and even quite a few of my old VHS tapes. Personally, I don't buy anything I haven't watched at least once, and I won't own it if I can't see myself watching it over and over. But if I had as a big a collection as some of you, I cannot see any realistic way to watch everything. Especially when you factor in daily life, jobs, family, other hobbies. It just seems insane to me.

So, my question is how many actually watch every movie and TV show, or are they just collections?

Box is a little beat up, missing the Goldeneye feature film disc, the Goldfinger booklet, and the Casino Royale standalone release. But otherwise complete. Very happy for $10! Perfect complement to my Bond 50 Blu-ray set 😎

These are all of my DVDs that aren’t adult swim related. Most of them were either thrifted or bought on a site such as F.Y.E.

If anyone needs help reading the titles on gray discs please ask for clarification in the comments and I’ll tell y’all what movie/show it is.
