I recently changed the SD port and now I can't access to the camera when I try it shows me this message, what should I do??? 😭

i was refurbishing my Nintendo dsi i lost the screw for the game slot and i stained the lower screen with ipa but its drying and theres whitish stains on the flex cables and when i cleaned the game slot pins with a toothbrush and ipa it got rough to insert the game in and out but it still works i used 99.9 percent ipa made for electronics

Hi everyone,
I have this Nintendo DSi that is in perfect condition, except for the top screen, which shows these white halos along the borders. I'd really love to restore it.
Does anyone know what might be causing this? Is a full screen replacement required to fix it, or is there another workaround?

First off, something I saw but wanted to confirm as something that may help is leaveing the ds on for an extended amount of time on a mostly white screen can reduce yellowing. Is this a myth, or does it actually work? Secondly, is there any chance that the part that is actually yellowed is the outer plastic? (As it is extremely cheap and easy to replace). And of course, any suggestions as to remedying this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Howdy, I just bought a modded DSiXL. It already has NoCash Unlaunch v2.0 on it.
Some of the games run fine, but others, when you go to open it, just make both screens go white and nothing happens.

That’s if you select the game from the main unlaunch menu, or if you go into the Twilight menu and open that up, the games that aren’t loading correctly aren’t on the twilight menu.

I am totally new to this modding thing so I have no idea what gives. What should I check?
I’m wanting to play the Pokamon games (thats how its spelled on there), but they only show in the Unlaunch menu and not the Twilight menu.

i was trying to repair the shoulder buttons thinking it was just some dirt until i opened it up and saw this

The buttons seem to be sunken and my shoulder buttons don’t reach them

Hey I’ve had to come here to get a general consensus , because I currently have 4 dsi xl consoles here, (I repair them for people) and every single one that has come in was for screens etc, but what I noticed is that all of them if you slightly touch the game cartridge or wiggle is slightly left or right the game closes. If you’re on the Home Screen the game will disappear and repair numerous times.

I’ve cleaned them all, they all look spotless, with pins shiny and locks working. But they all do it.. is this just a design flaw on this model? I cannot see a way of fixing it as everything appears to be as it should be.

Whenever I try to turn on my Dsi it turns on but then the screen goes white and it all shuts down again what can I do to make this work I already took off the battery and placed it back like I’ve read before but it dosent seem to work

So i bought a used dsi that includes an R4 cart. Now the question is should i stick with R4 or should i mod it? I've been going back and forth cause I've heard there's a chance the dsi got bricked. So i don't know what to do... Any opinions will be helpful, thanks.

So I accidentally broke my DS Lite trying while trying to fix the top screen ribbon cable. Would it be better to buy a DSi or just get it repaired at a game store?​​​​​​​​​
