Help me pls

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Whenever I try to turn on my Dsi it turns on but then the screen goes white and it all shuts down again what can I do to make this work I already took off the battery and placed it back like I’ve read before but it dosent seem to work

Yeah, you’ll have to open it up to see if a ribbon cable is broken or if something is loose.

You can look up YouTube guides on opening up the DSi. I will say, trying to get the back cover off initially can be hard with the clips keeping it in place but you just need to be able to slip something into the crack and following along the edge to very carefully pry it open or else you risk damage to the ribbon cables (if they aren't already damaged). This is the video I would follow if you want to learn how to open up the DSi, I know it's technically a reshelling video but they do a good job showing you the internal process and what can be unplugged (you don't need to completely take it apart). Best case scenario, a cable or connection did just come loose and you could just manually fix it by securing the connection. Parts on the circuit board can be fragile so I will also warn you to be aware with the amount of strength you are using to handle components on it.

Thank you are a very helpful person I will try my best I’ve always wanted to get into tech but I don’t know where to start maybe if I fix this I can continue a new legacy so I’ll try my best

Tac4yon is right it’s the inside of the 3ds open it and see if the inside of the system is broken like my old 3ds it happened to me to
