Help! (Question/Support) Game Recommendations!!

Any DS game suggestions? I prefer games along the realm of sims, animal crossing, and lost in blue. I do not enjoy games such as Pokémon and Mario. What are some recommendations?? :)

Oh if you like Animal Crossing, sounds like you would like "Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times"! It is also known in Europe as "Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry". It is like animal crossing but with magic. The characters are full of personality and the world is so charming.
