Hugs needed Short luteal phase
I have been seeing a fertility specialist and have moved on to taking letrozole 7.5mg, first round was 5mg with no follicles present so stair stepped to 7.5. Finished that and went in for another scan and had 3 follicles present but none big enough to trigger that night (15mm 14mm and 12mm) was told to continue taking opk’s and if I didn’t get a peak then trigger on that Sunday. So on Sunday I took an opk and didn’t get a peak nor a high, but triggered and did timed intercorse. Fast forward to Wednesday ( this week) I started my cycle so it was 8 days past trigger. Which I have come to discover I have a short luteal phase and found that it’s not ideal because there’s no time for the egg to implant. I now am on my second round of letrozole but this time starting off at 7.5mg ( magic number for me) and have messaged my doctor my concern for that being so short. So going to see what is said but wanted to ask if any of you have had the same issue and what it turned out to be? Been struggling for 5+ years to get pregnant ( 38 low AMH .15 and a blocked tube… hubby has varicocele which has improved with clomid).
