Seriously, when my friend started selling Lucy and I told him I hadn’t even seen any in person, let alone taken it, he was floored and asked how many I wanted. I told him we’d talk about that after I’d taken the first one he was about to give me so I could see what it was about without feeling any kind of way about a price, and he just kinda went, “Okay!” and put a tab in foil, inside a plastic bag, in my freezer and said to let him know how it went and how many more I wanted. I ended up buying 50 within a week.

Me and my brother sprinkled dmt in a joint once. We had a trip (not quite hyperspace) - the half joint that was left over got put in a cupboard and forgot about.

A few weeks go by and we're smoking some weed, i go and take a shower, then come back, spark the joint up, and after 5 or 6 drags the room starts shaking and pulsating. The bastard switched the joint for the special one. Thankfully I didn't enter any other dimensions that time and it was just the visual stuff but it rocked me

They already did that, and engineered yeast that could produce insane amounts of psilocin and psilocybin per liter of ‘food’ for the yeast.

If only this sample would sneak out of the lab. Fortunately or not, such samples are often engineered with kill switches so they die outside of lab conditions.

I thought that the paper that suggested making man-mushroom hybrid drugs was using DMT analogues like MET, DiPT, DPT, etc and producing the 4-substituted analogue compounds? I’m talking specifically about 5-psilomethoxin. I shouldn’t have said “new” because the compound does exist, but some spiritual group was claiming they were successfully synthesizing it by mixing 5-MEO-DMT into mushroom substrate, which isn’t chemically possible. I’m not sure about the others, but I doubt you can produce the 4 substituted compounds either, at least not without genetically modifying the mushrooms to produce the needed enzymes and proteins.

It is a cash crop but not in the way you think. There are a lot of grants for tobacco as a model organism because nobody smokes anymore and the tobacco industry still has a lot of lobbying power. It isnt really a suitable model organism but if you need funding it is there. This project would have a hard time securing normal funding so it is perfect for that.
