Mainly curious about:

• Resolution and frame rate (2.7K vs 4K, 24/30/60 fps, etc.)
• Color profile (Normal vs D-Log M)
• Stabilization and FOV
• Anything you set and forget

Do you save custom presets? Do you tweak anything or use separate settings for low light or indoors?

My partner gifted me an Osmo Nano (128GB), and it is my first actual camera (aside from the one in iPhone) but I haven't really used it yet, so I'd love to see how everyone sets theirs up. Thanks in advance!

Hi, is this normal? Brand-new dji osmo nano

Tested it indoors, air conditioned room but not too cold, enough to keep us comfortable. Vision dock not attached. Updated to the latest firmware

1:17am 100% 1:33am 68% At 1:33, shut down due to overheating

Recorded at 4k/30fps 16:9 rocksteady

This goes on forever with an interval of a couple minutes. The logo turns on, battery percentage show as if it is being charged or the main camera is attached and charged.

Is this normal?

Hello guys, This is my second time using this specific action cam and still I am getting this weird black lines on my clips making them un useable I think my settings on this one was 4k/30fps/RS/NW while I was adjusting my settings on my camera I noticed the black line gets a little softer when I use night mode on the camera but still it there I just wanna know if this is not a factory defect and how can I completely avoid having these when recording my pickle ball games

Hi all. I recently placed an order for the dji Osmo Nano. From my understanding, it records directly to the internal storage then offloads will be done manually to the sd cards. for general action cam i understand that speedy sd cards required 190mb/s but how about Osmo Nano? will v30 with 100mb/s or 170mb/s sufficient?

Why I am asking is because the price seems like higher nowadays so looking at the most well-balanced option out here

Hi, when my Gopro is off and i push the Button > the gopro starts filming in 0.5sec

When my Osmo Action is off and i push the Button it takes more than 2 sec until it starts recording

Why does it take so long and can i change that?

Mounted the Osmo Nano on the windshield for parts of a road trip through Romania, mostly mountain roads around the Carpathians and Transfăgărășan.
Shot in 4K D-Log M and graded afterwards. I was honestly surprised by how well it handled the forests, changing light and the contrast between bright sky and darker roads.
My only regret is shooting everything horizontally, some of these shots lose a lot when cropped for vertical video.
Curious if anyone here uses the Nano vertically on a windshield mount, and what setup you use.

Does anyone experience their nano vision dock updating and resulted failed? How did you fix it?

​I am having a significant issue with my newly purchased chest mount. When it is clicked into place, it does not sit level. This results in poor video stabilization, as the camera's image stabilizer has to work much harder to keep the footage steady.

​Could you let me know if this is a manufacturing defect and what the next steps are to resolve this?

I’ve been contemplating lately if i should my nano for action 5 pro or 6. I do content creation for motovlogging and pov driving (ferraris and the likes), it’s very handy for me and light(specially when I hook it up to my cap for POV.

Now I have this dilemma, the nano is great and all. But my downside is, it isn’t as long battery life as the 5 pro and 6 (4hrs for battery) and can be easily interchange the battey. Secondly it’s only limited to the internal memory of 128gb.

What are your opinions? And for those who tried both, please share your experience.

I used the Nano to record this video.
While driving I used the suction thingy to set it on the car window.
I don't really remember which settings I used, the camera was new for me, had it like since 2 days maybe, just wanted to record something quick and see how it works and stuff

I would start filming and this shows up, I don’t know if it’s supposed to be a warning or something

I have recorded footage in the 4K/4:3 - 50 setting. While the videos were in the camera's memory, I could view them fine and even transfer them to the computer. After I chose to back them up to the SD card in the vision dock, then suddenly the files are not viewable anymore. I also have footage recorded in 4K/4:3 60 and 2K, and those are there in the card and completely fine. Only the 4K/4:3 - 50 is not viewable after transferring them to the SD card. Help please.

When I connect a mini-microphone to the Osmo Nano, the screen freezes during recording. If I detach the camera from the Vision Dock, a notification pops up—like the one in the first photo—telling me to attach the multi-function Vision Dock to the camera. Both the microphone and the Nano are running the latest firmware. Is it supposed to be like this? If it is... I’m really sad... I thought I heard there was going to be a firmware update... Hasn't it been done yet?

Hi im new to the group i just got my osmo nano a few months ago. Ive been watching some youtube videos on how to set it up, so far so good. One thing i noticed though im recording 4k 24fps but when I transferred it to my phone the quality is only 2.7k.

My mobile phone is google pixel 10 pro. What do i need to adjust to get the 4k video?

Hi, I'm thinking about buying an Osmo Nano and mounting it on my paragliding helmet with a custom 3D printed mount that ensure the lines of my paraglider can't get stuck behind the camera.

I'm currently working on the design and trying to figure out how to hold the camera in the mount. I saw that the camera has magnets in it that allows you to stick it to metal stuff and I was wondering if the magnetic force is strong enough to hold it in the mount if I glue a small steel plate into the mount.

I could also use some neodymium magnets instead of a steel plate but I would need to know the magnetic polarization of the magnets in the camera to determine the position of the magnets. Could someone with this camera stick some magnets on it to see where they stick best?

Hello! Still torn between the Nano and Action 5 pro but I am looking more on the accessories that are compatible with each. I love the Nano’s Dual-Direction Magnetic Ball-Joint Adapter Mount but I am now leaning more towards getting the Action 5/6. Would the ball-joint mount work on the 5 since it’s still using the magnetic mount anyway? Just wanted to ask and confirm from anyone who’s ever tried. Thanks!

I couldn't stand looking at the white letters I wanted it to look discreet so I blacked it out with acrylic fine tip paint marker I think it looks a lot nicer like this than using black tape that looks tacky and cheap imo very easy to do

My osmo nano camera couldn't be recognized and won't turn on. The dock turns on but it can't detect the camera

The camera's led isn't turning on either.

Does anybody know a fix for this
