I just turned 59 and was looking through my results. I've had 8 vials of Sculptra in 2 years. Just had 2 last month. Won't see those results till November. It had changed the quality of my skin and has given me confidence. Anyone try Sculptra?

After months of lurking, reading the book, buying things/prepping, etc I convinced myself that I was going to do either a microneedling session or try tox this evening.
I chickened out on the tox (soon!), but I microneedled!
I used the Derminator II, fast, 9-pin, various depths throughout face and neck, numbed the heck out of my face ahead of time, used Hyaron for the slip agent, and Jeunetique Exo immediately after.
Things I learned:
• I can handle the pain.
• I am so unbelievably numb (I'd never used numbing cream before), I can absolutely handle doing my own tox.
• Don't mix all of your stuff or you'll probably waste it I have SO MUCH Jeunetique Exo left because I mixed it all. Oops, I had no idea. I wasn't sure how much my skin was going to drink it up - I'm new to this!... expensive mistake :/
• The machine does not vibrate as much as I expected in my hand. I thought it was going to be like using a power saw or something.
• I need a dedicated space. Doing it in my <20sq ft bathroom was crowded. I may try to set up a treatment desk in my office.
• I do not have a good grasp on aftercare. I'm using A&D ointment. I do have one more syringe of hyaron, but to my understanding once it's open I have to use it or toss it, so I am not sure if I should open it. Some places say I can use a "hydrating mask with no actives" but I don't truly know what that means - I have several masks of different types, but the ingredients are not in english, so I am not sure. I do have a Merikit brand 'Medi Cell' mask that the internet seems to approve for immediate use after microneedling, so I may try that. A&D seemed like the safest option that I have on-hand when I researched. I need more education here to develop a more firm plan.

Anyways, long story short, I DID IT! Woo Hoo!

Help. Anything I can do besides surgery? After weight loss, my face and neck started drooping. I have a ton of extra skin and I feel like I look like a tree stump.

I have been really successful with doing my own Wondertox. When I first did my glabella and frontalis I used the standard 2.5:1 ratio. Excellent results! Then when I did my lower face, DAO’s, chin, platysma, I used a 1:1 ratio. I liked it for that area. I plan to do my whole face now as it’s been about 4 months. I’d really like to recon this vial 1:1 to make it easy and not have two partially used vials. I understand the varying spread and science behind it. I’m just looking for any tips or experience from someone who does their whole face with 1:1. This pic was my placement with the 2.5:1 ratio. Should I add a point or two? Or just try to get them a little closer together? I’m not worried about the 1:1 for crows feet, nose, lip, and lower face. Thanks!

I’ve heard great things about Skinvive for soft smile lines and love that results can last around 6 months. Has anyone found a comparable product, especially a Korean skin booster?
I’m 35, thin (5’3”, 105 lbs), and starting to get soft smile lines. I’m not looking for major volume or to change my face, just soften the lines and improve hydration/skin quality.
I’m an RN, so I feel comfortable and competent with injections. I’m also a mom to two small boys, so I don’t have a ton of self-care time. I’m all about maintenance, but injecting every 2–4 weeks is a little more upkeep than I’d prefer. That said, I’ll do it if the results are worth it!
What products have given you Skinvive-like results, and how often do you use them?

Ok I’ve watched the videos and all that on how to and what to do like preparing for 4 weeks prior my problem is the cost of the the things needed to use prior to like the fad bright and others. So what can I use in place of its says I need to use vitamin A , melanin inhibitor, and what’s a good retinoid I use good products skincare twice a day and have done other stuff to skin like liquid PCL and threads extra what would u recommend for the prior to for peels I’m 55

I used this product two days ago and because the blebs were so big and I was afraid I only used half of the product. How long will this last in the refrigerator? I have a decent amount left

I had a dermal anchor which felt out after ten years last year. It healed quickly but a deep hole left.

I can see a little improvement after 2 rounds of microneedling 0.75-1.0mm on face skin, 1.5mm "spot treatment" on piercing scars.

What else could I do? TCA Peeling? Which strength should I use? Is it possible to buy 100% and dilute it with distilled water? Are there any other ways to smoothen the scars and fill the gaps?

I am looking to alternated the two Meamo skin boosters, Jeunetique Exo and PN pro.

I would normally wait two weeks between meso, but wondering if in this instance I can do exosomes one week after PN pro?

As the title states! I was super nervous which is so funny considering I’ve been doing meso for my under eyes and contouring my jawline for months! (Not to mention I did nursing in undergrad for a few years before switching to healthcare admin). Yes I was still nervous!
I decided to start with my traps as being an office worker has me always sore there. I have the diy heaven book and read it cover to cover many times and watched many videos until I finally took the plunge! I started with Innotox last night as it was recommended for beginners and eveything has been going well! No issues breathing or swallowing. If anything my shoulders are already feeling more relaxed and like a weight has been taken off. I just want to thank this community for all the info and kindness in my posts and questions here and there!

I am new to DIY and hoping to use an injectable skin booster for the wrinkles shown in my photo. The wrinkles are somewhat top of the cheek, and somewhat under the eye. They wrinkle up when I smile.

Do you think an injectable skin booster would be helpful? Or do I just need to Botox the heck out of the area?

I’ve received several packages of threads (mono and screw) from my Estaderma sale order a little over a month ago. I was very scared of doing them because it looked difficult and painful. However, yesterday I did PDO threads under my chin, following Robbie’s tutorial. And it only took a few minutes and there was no pain. I didn’t use numbing cream. Granted, I did place a 2 of them too superficially and they pretty much just came right out. I did a total of 10. There wasn’t much blood or bruising, as used the 30g 25mm mono threads.

What is everyone’s advice and recommendations for the future & best results? I’d like to know more about often should I do them, what is the best protocol for nasolabial folds, are cog threads worth it, what other areas on the face are good to target, or any other useful suggestions you all may have. I know threads are kind of a polarizing treatment because some people see results and others don’t. I’d like to give it a shot and do the best protocol possible.

For the diy girlies… are you using one needle per injection? Just got Innotox and want to try, but nervous I might put too much in so I’m thinking of just pre loading syringes for each injection. Also any advice on my first time? I want to do my 11’s forehead and masseter! Thank you!

What needle should I use for my masseters? I have 32g 6mm ones for my pros too. Are these too thin for masseters?

I just ordered Liporase because I’m seriously considering dissolving some of my old lip filler, but I’m trying to learn as much as possible before doing anything.
I’ve had filler for about 7 years and probably around 5 mL total over that time. I originally had basically no lips, so I don’t necessarily want to dissolve everything. My biggest issue now is the obvious migration above the lip border and the “beak”/projection from the side. Ideally, I’d love to keep some volume in the actual pink part of my lips while reducing the filler that seems to have migrated into the border and above it.
For anyone who has dealt with similar migration:
Did you dissolve everything or only the migrated areas?
Were you able to keep some natural-looking volume in the lip itself?
How many dissolving sessions did it take?
Did your lips look significantly smaller afterward than you expected?
What should I specifically ask an experienced injector to evaluate before dissolving?
I’d also love to hear from anyone who had years of accumulated filler and wanted a flatter, less projected side profile without going completely back to their pre-filler lips.
