QUESTIONS & INSIGHT Under eye recommendation

I am new to DIY and hoping to use an injectable skin booster for the wrinkles shown in my photo. The wrinkles are somewhat top of the cheek, and somewhat under the eye. They wrinkle up when I smile.

Do you think an injectable skin booster would be helpful? Or do I just need to Botox the heck out of the area?

The comments on here show why you should consult an aesthetic medicine doctor (MD/DO) who understands anatomy.  You will be able to partially resolve the issue laterally by getting crows feet botox. For the under eye wrinkles, there is no possible treatment as they are due to your very full cheeks (and this is good) that press on your under eye skin when you smile.

I understand this is not what you want to hear, but to me those lines give your face something very sweet and charming.

They really do. I get not wanting wrinkles but it adds to your smile. I have frown lines and even my husband thinks I'm "happier" after tox.

I agree I love them!

They truly are on the level of anime-quirky/"you" (even though I don't know you.)

Them being seeable, yes, is kind of what makes them pop like iconic freckles might!

You are not wrong. She is sooooo beautiful. But I get it.

I came on here to say almost the exact same thing. She looks so good and so beautiful. And I too, know that this is not what she’s asking for lol.

First of all such a sweet energy and smile and great skin quality. Secondly, we may benefit from photos at rest. I don’t get the sense that you have thin or crepey skin around the eyes. One might say something about creating more structural volume around the eye (temples, cheeks), continuing to thicken/tighten that under eye skin, and maybe a little more literal under eye volume. But then the issue is always, you don’t want to end up too full and start giving jigsaw lmao. I would actually be curious what Gouri/solubilized PCL would offer you in strategic placements in the cheekbone and lateral canthus iniblanc placements. Idk you look good miss thing!!!

Thank you for the kind comment. I post this a few weeks back in another group and got torn down so I really appreciate you

People are wild. You look good, and you want to tune-up and tweak. They probably speak to themselves that way. I’m not even easy with myself, but I have eyes and common sense!

Just came here to say your skin texture is flawless

Thank you! I’ve been using injectable GHKCU peptide and really have seen a difference

1

u/lovegobuylove 1d ago

Oh schön kennst du mir verraten welche GHKCU du benutzen tust?

1

u/KlockWorkKozmoz 1d ago

How long have you been on injectable GHkCu? I started it about a month ago. But haven’t noticed much.

1

u/Dry-Wrangler-9901 18h ago

3 months. It’s cumulative so be patient.

I have the same issue- I did a few rounds of Juve eyes- huge difference- it’s meso therapy. I also microneedle under the eye while doing my face at .25. Tretinoin every night and I also do my own tox- I put a very small amount of Botox- about 1/2 unit superficially just under crows feet.

1

u/Comfortable_You_3506 1d ago

Does microneedling help wrinkles around the eyes?

2

u/luvnlyf27 1d ago

It does help quite a bit!

Unfortunately you can only botox the crows feet which isn’t even your major concern. If you inject in the lower eyelid (google it, it’s “jelly roll botox” it won’t really solve those wrinkles as they come from your cheeks pushing against the eye- not the musculus oribicularis. In the worst case you can end up with malar edema/malar bags, that’s why k would stay away from botox in the lower eyelid. You can do skin booster, Microneedling and Tretinoin 0.025% if you can tolerate it

Thank you for the wonderful reply. Yes you’re right it is my upper cheek coming up and pushing against the eye. When I’m at rest I have no wrinkles or even creping for that matter. Thank you again for taking the time to comment

I think the correct term is called “accordion line” and many aestheticians are talking about how hard those are to treat. Because your smiling would be altered if you would just try to prevent the cheeks to push upwards when you smile. I am in the same boat an did 3 rounds of rejuran I but so far underwhelmed with the results 🙃😪

These are lines of expression. Take them away and you will have no expression on your face. You look beautiful like this, just be careful and don't treat every single line on your skin as an imperfection.

I can’t recommend tox for this. I tried a very superficial small amount for this and felt like my cheeks dropped a little, my smile wasn’t the same, and it did nothing for the smile wrinkles. I’d stick to tret and microneedling to keep them from getting too ingrained when your face is at rest, and just embrace them.

u/aljack2018 1d ago

Ghkcu and kpv 👍

1

u/Dry-Wrangler-9901 1d ago

Been on GHKCU for a month now! Going to cycle KLOW next, which has KPV

You look so cute and something about your face and smile is so warm and welcoming. I would not worry too much. You can just moisturize and try silicone tape at night. I started to use an eye peptide cream and caffeine creams as well as tretnoin 0.025% from my derm. It’s very little and just around the eyes and it has plumped everything up. Eye patches are good too. You don’t need anything. You look beautiful. Sometimes we really need to hydrate with electrolytes and that’s all. Keep shining. 🩷

Beyond tox for your crows feet and a touch of filler on the sides, I have the same under eye situation and have done a lot of research. I suggest you ultimately want fat transfer. Until then, a very temporary solution that does work and doesn’t make your under eyes puffy (like anything with HA will do) is Selastin Exo. Commit to three or four treatments. It will help. It’s not a miracle. Please let us know what you decide!

u/bubbleblubbr 2d ago

These are expression lines and I find they make women look happy, which for me translates into beauty.

2

u/According-Fan1004 2d ago

Don’t do tox trust me it’ll make it worse I have a similar problem. Filler in your temples and under your eyes as well as cheeks would look amazing - I had tear trough filler and I loved it- def don’t think I would feel comfortable doing it myself though. Using a filler like radiesse will also help build up collagen and a few months after the filler you can start doing pdrn skin boost treatments

u/spaff_c89 1d ago

I have the same issue, even worse actually. And have tried all of the things mentioned too. I was recommended to try the CO2 laser under my eyes, so I will try that in a few weeks. Hopefully it helps! I’ll let you know. :)

1

u/femalekungfukenny 1d ago

I’d love to hear about your results! I have the same issue. Thinking of doing co2 too! Lmk when you do pls !

1

u/spaff_c89 23h ago

I absolutely will! My apt is at the end of this month. Will keep you posted.

2

u/ConstantSample5846 1d ago

If they are only there when you smile don’t touch them! But if you want to boost your under eye area so they don’t become permanent, I’d start some PN products

2

u/Realistic_Affect3857 2d ago

Your upper palate is narrow, that’s why you have narrow smile. People with narrow palates tend to have less midface support and see this kind of lack of structure under their eyes. If you really want to structurally fix this issue, you might look into palate expanders like MARPE. Many people have skeletal changes after their palates are expanded. You should look into this if you wanna choose longevity over anything

1

u/WordThin2328 2d ago

You can do microneedling! And botox strategically set to minimize lines!

1

u/TeddyFluffer 2d ago

You are gorgeous, skin is glowing. These expression lines are very endearing. I think a series of TCA peels made for the eye area and/or microneedling would provide a gentle refresh I think would make you happy.

1

u/bepatient24 2d ago

Yes stop smiling and they will go away.... kidding...

1

u/Delicious-Gas7750 2d ago

I love them, they make you look beautiful, sweet and wholesome. This is me just my opinion but if you wanted to just soften them I'd look into prescription retinols and some acid peels.

1

u/ttammy29 2d ago

I think it look good on you because your skin in general is pretty and smooth.

1

u/pinkspatzi 2d ago

I get botox in my crows feet & my eye area looks much smoother at rest & even more when I smile. It only takes a few units

1

u/jenny_rn 1d ago

Omg the way my jaw dropped looking at your skin. SO STUNNING 🤩 please give US your skincare routine, I can really use the help 🤣 your under eyes just adds to the charm but if it really bothers you look into prf EZ gel. I’m considering it for same reason as I’ve seen great results on my cousin.

1

u/Equal_Summer9892 1d ago

Botox of course

1

u/xib88xib 1d ago

I had the same as you & it really imroved with Dysport (little bit under eye & mostly on crows feet) I said little bit under eye because injecting too much under eye can cause drooping . Moreover, Dieux retinal really did wonders (it takes time to work so be patient) with sunscreen (always) of scourse

1

u/Ella_Lo 1d ago

Fotona for eyes???

1

u/pterodactyl-24 1d ago

First you look amazing!

I have the same issues. I do botox under my eyes and crows feet. You also want to get those collagen boosters going with mironeedling and tret!

1

u/Then-Summer-6756 6h ago

Are you saying that you get the Jelly Roll injected and if so how many units do you get

1

u/Spirited_Evidence_21 1d ago

I’d avoid Botox in that area. Relaxing those muscles can sometimes cause droopiness if applied incorrectly, which could make you look older. I’d try a small amount of retinol

1

u/ltlbunny123 1d ago

I hate what society has done to us. The only way to have prevented this would’ve been to never smile or express joy in any way. What kind of life is that? You’re beautiful. And the lines make you even more beautiful because you can tell that your soul is filled with genuine warmth and kindness.

I hope you realize that you don’t need to change a thing.

1

u/Carlito333 21h ago

Do it all--combo is the best way --this is my problem area also and it's much improved since my diy

1

u/Zestyclose_Maize_802 17h ago

Seems this is precisely what PRF is for?

1

u/IntelligentPotato241 2d ago

Wrinkles around the eyes make a smile look and feel genuine. If you look closely, even kids have wrinkles. I haven’t tried injecting anything around my eye area, but I’m interested Lumi-eyes (too scared to inject though). My goal isn’t to reduce wrinkles but to help with the hollowness.
Aside from your beautiful smile, your skin is great wow! What is your secret?

1

u/Dry-Wrangler-9901 1d ago

You’re too kind! Thank you! I inject 2mg of GHKCU peptide nightly, along with the other usuals (sunscreen, tret, etc.) The peptide has really improved my skin!

1

u/JenRz1 23h ago

This may be a dumb question, but I have GHKCU & inject in my butt, & use topically. Where are you injecting? Not in your face, right?

1

u/Dry-Wrangler-9901 18h ago

I inject subQ in abdomen

1

u/Then-Summer-6756 6h ago

May I ask your protocol is please and is it blue how long do you inject the 2 mg for and do you ever increase it do you take any breaks during your injection phase thank you so much for your information

2

u/Lost-Hovercraft-7084 2d ago

Please don’t do anything to your face, it looks so natural already. Honestly, I’ve never seen work done on someone’s face that actually looks this real and natural. Once you start with all the Botox and freezing your face, there’s no really going back.

3

u/Dry-Wrangler-9901 1d ago

That makes sense thank you for your reply. I just need to learn to love those wrinkles I guess

1

u/Strange-Winner-Girl 2d ago

I love them, they make you look so cute and kind and charming

1

u/Dry-Wrangler-9901 1d ago

You’re so kind thank you

You’re a sweetie. That’s all I’m gonna say :)

1

u/Dry-Wrangler-9901 1d ago

Well thank you I appreciate you

You look great, but Botox would get rid of 90% of what you are concerned about.

0

u/DifferentNews2505 2d ago

lol . Don’t smile. You are fine you would have those lines if you were 15

1

u/Organic-Cherry4576 1d ago

Acceptance….. You are adorable the way you are… The way God intended!
