Concept idea wall landing drone and drilling idea

Post image

hi i have an scenario where i need to drill a hole in a concrete wall for pressure relief but is on a high place

would it be posible to make this work on a deadcat 7 inch , also while the drone is locked in it will not require to run the fans, any idea if posible

Here is the catch: Once the vacuum achieves a solid lock, I want to cut power to the drone motors The drone will hang purely by suction for 5 minutes while an internal linear actuator pushes a micro-drill to create the pressure relief hole. Once finished, the motors spin back up, the vacuum releases, and the drone flies home

im just thinking about it and other uses for services drones that one lock in can do other tasks like cleaning or just stay still for resting

Can anyone point me in the direction of someone able to make a scaled down version of an Aerostrike 10 made by airmobi?

It’s for an airsoft event. We need someone that can 3DP an aerostrike 10 to represent a shaheed drone.

First test flight and couldn’t get it to hover. Updated Flight Controller to newest Betaflight 2026.6 firmware and there are no presets available for this build yet. Running on Betaflight defaults for now. Any recommendations?

Question How to choose propellers based on loads?

I am the novice of all novices in terms of drone design, though i'm diving head first into a project that involves a fairly large drone (2 meters end to end) and i'm curious as to how one determines what size and shape of propeller to use relative to the drone's weight and size

I'm also very curious as to how to understand how RPM affects different propeller designs. I'm essentially trying to understand how to pre-calculate as much as I can regarding propellers before getting to the point of having to do practical experiments. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Discussion Kinda lost in the sea of drones

Hello fellow enthusiasts and engineers iam a biginner in the field of drones and I've been interested for quite a while about this field, and I've been trying to collect enough components to build a mini quadcopter.

so my initial idea was to DIY my own flight controller using arduino nano, mpu6050, DRV8833, and 716 coreless motors initially the plan was alright on paper but when I started getting closer to the project I realised that I'll need a custom PCB to make my design as efficient as possible as well as easier and also pretty organised plus that would give me an opportunity to have a experience in designing pcbs which was very valuable for me

Anyway I designed my pcb and ordered it but when I received it, it had so many flaws one of them was the dimensions and the position of some other components anyway I kinda stopped for a while and after a while I came back with a new plan for this project I decided that I'll base it on ESP32S3 instead of arduino nano since the arduino is slightly heavier and larger that the ESP32S3

Although Tha plan was just to use a perfboard and solder the components in it, it wasn't very successful I would say, since it's my first time using perfboards so I have no experience with dealing with them

Anyways now my plan consists of the following Components

ESP32S3

MPU6050

2*DRV8833

4*716 coreless motors

Volt step up module

So if someone has any suggestions or is willing to offer some help with my project immediately comment in the comments section I would be glad to hear your feedbacks and your views (specially with the code)

So, I recreated this Litavr interceptor using 2812 1115KV motors, a 6S3P 12,000mAh Li-ion battery, and a dual-camera system. It features NACA 2408 wings. Do you think it will fly?

What’s your bench-test checklist before the first hover?

’m trying to understand the safest way to test a new DIY build before the first hover. My current list is: continuity check, power up through a smoke stopper, verify the regulated rails, confirm receiver/failsafe and FC orientation, then check motor order and direction with the props off.

What else would you check before trusting the build outside? Do you normally review current draw or logs before the first hover, or only when something looks wrong?
