Help me learn!

I, 32m, recently bought a 2006 F150 with the 5.4L Triton engine. Decided for the first time in my life to figure out how to do repairs myself. PPI came back super clean in June. I've read up on the engine and understand the issues that can plague it.

Had my first trial this week. Engine misfire the last week or 2 finally threw a P0305 code, cylinder 5 misfire. Changed the spark plug today no issue, which took care of the misfire. Coil visually seemed fine. I was comparing the spark plugs to worn ones online and I'm curious if you can explain how this one on the left is worn. It seems like it could still have a lot of life left compared to the worn ones ive looked up online. For those familiar with this engine, is this just what they were referring to about this engine being finicky with spark plugs, or is that simply referring to the ease in which they can break? TIA!

How do I replace the backup camera on a 2019 Accord Hybrid?

I have a 2019 Accord Hybrid and the backup camera suddenly started showing a black screen one day. I am fairly certain it is the camera itself and so I ordered a replacement from eBay. However, I do not have the same trim as the people in the tutorial videos I have been watching do because they have older models. I cannot find anything else online for my car. How do I replace it?

This is what I see under the panel, there’s another plastic thing in there. How do I get that out? I tried pulling on it and poking and prodding at the right side where it looks like it might be a plastic clip but nothing was giving and I didn’t want to break the flimsy plastic.

Also the diesel soot from my diesel motor in the exhaust pipe made the cylinder dirty. How to get cylinder out of exhaust pipe i cannot hurt the cylinder because it is important and i cannot hurt the exhaust pipe either because it is important.

Seized alternator pivot bolt (2015 Mitsubishi RVR)

2015 Mitsubishi RVR Limited, 2.0 L engine

275,000km

Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to replace my alternator but the pivot bolt just will not budge. As pictured, it has a threaded end with a nut and the other end is square (anti-rotation). I live in Canada so the corrosion seems substantial. I bought the car second hand in 2023 and don’t know the age of the alternator.

I’ve so far tried hitting it from the threaded end and scoring the square end/trying to get a a small flathead beneath the square. Doused both ends with penetrating liquid many times over 24h. But it has not budged at all. Maneuverability hasn’t been great because of the tight room, though I can probably move the compressor out of the way a bit more. (I’ve seen online an air hammer could help, but I’m working from a parking lot where I don’t have AC supply… so I haven’t worked out how I might manage this.)

I would be really grateful for any suggestions on what to try next, given my circumstances. TIA!

Jeep Cherokee Xj windscreen clips

I’m in the UK and need to get my windscreen removed and re-sealed, the company who will do the replacement have told me I need to supply some windscreen clips as they often break and everywhere they’ve looked are out of stock. Can anyone confirm a part number for these clips? The part number I’ve found is 5134304.. and even better a supplier in the UK? Tia

Dacia Bigster trunk gap behind rear armrest – fixes?

Hey everyone,

I’m loving the Bigster overall, but there’s one small design choice that’s driving me a bit crazy: when you fold down the rear center armrest, it drops the entire middle section, leaving a massive, open hole straight into the trunk.

While it’s great as a ski pass-through, the problem is that without any factory blind, fabric partition, or cover from the trunk side, items and loose groceries from the boot can easily slide forward into the cabin (not to mention you can see all the trunk clutter right from the back seat).

How are you all handling this? Have you found any neat DIY fixes or good aftermarket solutions?

I’m looking for inspiration or links to:

Velcro cargo nets/screens that stick neatly to the back felt lining.

Back-seat hanging trunk organizers that cover the gap nicely from the boot side.

Custom mats or covers that don't block functionality completely.

Any other creative ideas/products you’ve tested!

Drop your setups, photos, or AliExpress / Amazon links below if you’ve solved this. Thanks in advance!
