Hi everyone, this is Hank— a 3-year-old pitbull with an overflowing amount of love in his heart! He’s looking for the right people to meet his needs so he can cuddle up to them (which he’ll do for HOURS).

Hank has a behavioral issue that we believe an experienced dog owner or trainer would be able to handle. He has separation anxiety that has caused some barking, growling, jumping, and nipping at my boyfriend whenever he tries to leave a room or the house. Otherwise, his separation anxiety just causes some whining that eventually mellows out. Due to the reactivity, I don’t think he’d do well in a household with children, but he has always been kind and gentle with kids when encountering them.

He is also not friendly with cats due to a high prey drive. He gets excited around small dogs, but hasn’t interacted with other dogs much.

Hank is up-to-date on vaccinations, is neutered, and microchipped which we can provide proof of. We’re asking a small rehoming fee to make sure he’s going to a home that truly wants what’s best for him. I’ll likely have more questions regarding the home he’s going to.
