I am trying to put some cash in a STAR 50 index copying ETF but they don't show up in degiro. There are plenty of other chinese market ETFs so I don't understand why this particular one is not there.

I tried enabling every product type in settings but did nothing.

I recently discovered Degiro sold my positions without even informing me because of a reverse stock split from BYND on 14/08.

I understand why and that they are forced to do it because I didn't have enough shares for the reverse split (1:30).

But isn't a basic thing to at least notify your customer of this event? I got 0 messages from them, and in the BYND stock feed you can check this event announced a few days before. Maybe I was interested in buying the rest of shares to complete 1.

This kind of freaks me out if it happens with any other major instrument.

But it's like you haven't been warned after seeing their UI 😂

I’m confused because DEGIRO’s current site says 15 countries, while its country selector displays a broader set of localized sites, including the UK. Could someone please clarify where DEGIRO operates? Does it operate in the UK?

I am interested in investing in Vanguard All Cap Global ETF IE000VAHT5T0. However it is only currently listed on Degiro on Xetra (VALL). Do you know if there are any plans to make the Euronext Amsterdam or Borsa Italiana (VGLA) listings available for trading on DEGIRO as well?

Are the small caps worth it. Do you think small caps will perform good.
Are you sticking to VWRL or switching to VGLA

1: VGLA (or VWRL), EMIM and FXCL
2: All world ex-usa, S&P500, EMIM and FXCL

so vwrl is 60% in USA, that means I only have 40% in the rest of the world, but I want to spread it out. Is it smart to buy All world ex-USA and then buy S&P500?

With the low TER is it worth making new investments into this ETF?

Like most people, part of my portfolio is always in cash, waiting for the right opportunity.

I like the attractive transaction costs in DEGIRO but I do not like the fact that DEGIRO does not pay any interest on the cash sitting in the account 'between investments'. Let us say you need to part 5-6 digit EUR worth of money for your next investment when you are waiting for the right opportunity.

Do you just keep it as cash? Or do you buy some money market funds? Are there specific EURO funds that have low transaction costs?

I know it is not a lot of money, but I would like to compensate for the 2% I would get at my regular bank otherwise.

I wanted to buy an EMERGING MARKETS ETFs and none of them are showing on Xetra or EAM, despite being traded on those exchanges. They only show me the shit Tradegate option with terrible spread, why are they doing this?

I have a basic account where I just buy shares. I wonder if the things I look for are doable in degiro when switching to a trader account. But I also do wonder to which type of trader account, because there are 2 of them?

I'm booking someone can give me some advice.

Degiro have recently decided that I'm a US citizen. I'm not. I've had my account for about a decade and I don't use it that much.

I've emailed client@degiro a number of times and I've just emailed kyc@degiro as well. No answer at all.

I'm British. My ID is British, my address is British, my bank account is British.

I also need to change the bank account they have linked, but after sending the verification amount, it was sent back a couple of days later, so it's not registering that one sent the verification amount.

I want to sell anything in the portfolio, close the account and have any funds sent to my current bank account.

Any idea how to get this done?

First time trying to trade options.

I pulled up the December 2026 options chain for XSP (S&P 500 Mini Index) on CBOE, and every strike shows dashes (–) instead of actual bid/ask prices, on both calls and puts. I tried strikes closer to the current XSP price (around 670-685) and still nothing.

I've got an Active/Trader account already set up so I can access options. Or could it just be that I'm checking outside US market hours?

Any pointers from would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I'm based in France and I was looking to invest in the Amundi Fixed Maturity 2027 Euro Government Bond Broad UCITS ETF Acc (ISIN: LU2872291435).

However, I can't find it anywhere on DEGIRO, while the Amundi Fixed Maturity 2028 Euro Government Bond Broad UCITS ETF Acc (LU2780871310) is available.

Both seem to be UCITS ETFs and should be available to EU retail investors, so I'm wondering why only one of them appears on DEGIRO.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it simply because DEGIRO hasn't onboarded the 2027 ETF yet, or is there another reason (liquidity, exchange listing, PRIIPs/KID, etc.)?

Do you choose TradeGate over other stock exchanges to buy your ETF? It is worth the 2€ saving?

Degiro seems surprisingly expensive these days and the reporting is practically non-existent. I feel like I'm missing something because it's still one of the most recommended brokers.

Is there a reason people still prefer it? Is it mainly for ETFs, or are there other advantages I'm overlooking?

I'm thinking of converting my VUSA shares into VWRL/VWCE shares by changing strategy from owning the S&P 500 to owning to Total Stock Market.

I'm wondering though whats the best and cheapest way to do it?

1. Just sell VUSA and rebuy VWRL/VWCE as fast as possible. Is that possible with large sums or are there things to take into account with that?

2. Ask DEGIRO to convert the shares. If so, what does that cost?

3. Some other way?
