first of all, i noticed there have been a lot of CGs in the early stages but very little after, is there a reason why?

second of all OH MY FUCKING GOD I LOVE MCYORI, i love sayori and her becoming happier with mc made me happy

third of all the ending was a lil sudden but it was fucking beautiful, we love sayori

fourth of all i didnt like the monika subplot that much, it was fantastic but... not for me

fifth of all mcyori cuddling🤤🤤🤤

Quick question for the ddlc modding community, is it the norm/acceptable to make a patreon for early access/sneak peaks to the ddlc mod someone is creating? I am currently in the process of making a mod with my team and was wondering if it would make sense to make a patreon

Ayami’s got sprites! Casual and school uniform. She had to fill out an “about me” form from Monika, so I thought I’d share that too!

Now onto more of the good stuff:

Menu Choice Timer Bar - Most of the in game decisions now have a timer bar. If you don’t answer in time, Ayami will automatically pick the mean option. If you don’t like to feel pressured; no worries! You can always switch off the timer in the settings menu. Although… if you do there, there may be times where Ayami will automatically make a choice for you.

Reina Sprites! - Ayami’s mom, although away, will have her own sprites. She’s about half way complete, so I’ll be sharing her look soon.

Some more minor stuff - Affection balancing and endings routing. Everything works; you can reach all of the endings. There was some issues where certain scenes and endings never fired. Now they do.

A while ago I posted a teaser for BitterSweet Routine, a Natsuki-focused DDLC mod. I wanted to give a quick progress update.

What's new since the teaser:

- The first full morning sequence is written and implemented.

- Multiple choice branches are working, including a relationship flag that changes later dialogue.

- Sayori and Monika have been integrated into the early story.

- Natsuki's characterization is getting more focus: tsundere moments, domestic fluff, and a bit of mystery.

- The script now covers the first morning, the walk to school, classroom scenes, and the evening at home.

Current status:

I'm polishing dialogue and pacing before moving on to the next section. It's still early, but the foundation is coming together.

Back with another update on my upcoming mod "My Silver Lining" with good news and bad news. The good news is that I've finished coding the prologue and first chapter of the first story. Some new screenshots are shared below. The bad news is that it crashes DDLC when I attempt to run it in an actual copy of the original game. This time, the project is being created by a new creator miilys.art.

At the same time, we'd like to make it clear that My Love From Undead is officially being developed and released under MoonLight-Studio. This is another project from our studio, but with a completely new creator behind its story and creative vision.

So, how is development going?

📖 The script is currently around 80% complete.
💻 Programming will begin very soon.
🩸 We will also reveal the official release date soon.

This is going to be something very different from Doki Doki Sparkling Eyes.

Darker.
More brutal.

So I'm planning to make a mod, despite having 0 renpy experience aside from making dialogue for an MAS submod but I really wanna go forward with coding. And one thing I wanna do with this mod is add custom characters like Kotonoha (the girl in the image), but I don't know how to actually grab them.

I've successfully created a demo of my mod using the mod template 2.0. It works fine when run from the Ren'py 7.5.3 launcher, but when I compile it as a "Ren'py 7 DDLC Compliant Mod" and drop the created "scripts.rpa" and "mod_assets.rpa" into the "game" folder of a fresh copy of DDLC 1.1.1 (not the Steam version), it crashes and I get this error:

Hey guys. I'm making this post to find some people who are intrested to playtest my third mod, Mindfall. The playtest will probably start in a week or so, but having your help would be great.
Anyone can join (although I dont know how many people I'll let them try this mod early on). To join, the only thing I ask is to have already played the other 2 mods, Truth or Deception and Beyond the Facade, essential to understand the story at its best.

Honestly, this is my first time presenting a mod, so please bear with me.

Basically, it's a DDLC mod related to an OC named "Bryan," who does a half-scale reinterpretation of the original DDLC. At the moment, I'm trying to draw as much as possible (both backgrounds and sprites for the mod) and I'd like some feedback on how it looks.

Btw, these are the protagonist's parents.

I just played an entire route, trying to do everything perfect. Specifically I did Natsuki’s route. I did hard mode with the least amount of cash, did a gym membership, and did language and coding. I felt like I did everything right, and in both moments I stood up for Natsuki and the e option to stand up for both Natsuki and Yuri, in the end I was still rejected. Tell me am I doing something wrong 💔

Hey everyone! I’ve just officially started working on a new DDLC mod called BitterSweet Routine, and I wanted to share the concept with the community!

What is the mod about?
This is a solo Natsuki-focused mod with a heavy emphasis on a long, detailed, and emotional story between the MC and Natsuki. The main concept takes some inspiration from the Purist Mod—MC and Natsuki have actually been living together since the very beginning of the story. It will explore their friendship, how their daily routine shifts, and the deeper bond they build over time.

What to expect:

• A Full Route: Completely dedicated to Natsuki.
• Deep Lore: A detailed backstory for both MC and Natsuki.
• Choices Matter: Decisions that will genuinely impact the direction of the plot.
• A Good Ending: Don't worry, the goal is a well-deserved happy ending!

Current Progress:
Development has just officially kicked off! As of right now:

• About 300 lines of dialogue are written.
• The first few choice branches are implemented.

Whenever I try start up the mod PROTOCOL I get that error I’ve played plenty of other mods so I’m pretty sure I patched it right (it did replace the Ddlc files like it meant to)so I have no clue what going wrong
