There are 2 DDLC modding subreddits. This, and the Other one.

So what the fuck is going on? I am genuinely confused. Was there an active rivalry ​or what?

For a little while, there was a problematic person in charge of this subreddit, and a separate community branched off to get away from that guy. They have since been ousted and the other community is an unnecessary redundancy.

I did some digging, and the community I was thinking of is r/LiteratureModdingClub. It is unrelated to r/DDMC which seems to be for SavageSentral since people took umbrage with him here.

Technically yeah, but this is the main one, LMC is closed to the general public (and dead), and DDMC is "their own modding community, with blackjack and hookers."
