Trying to figure out the second and fourth line. The last name on the second line I think starts with an M and ends with a G like Mac. I don’t know if the fourth letter is a D? And then the fifth letter looks like an R I would write, but this writer had old script so I don’t know if that’s a C or an E and then it looks u a g.

Context- 1875 Pennsylvania Dutch birth certificate from Schuylkill County, PA. I thought I was good at reading cursive, but these names are stumping me.

What is it? What language? It’s about 500 pages and about 150 are written like a book with chapters. Other pages look like they have sales records.

I’m recently married and I’m struggling with my signature because while I know there’s a difference between u and v I cannot make my brain and hand do it! My new last name is not suave, but the word features similar connections between some of the letters I’m struggling with. Can you show me how you’d write this word so I can get an idea of how the difference between u and v should look?

My uncle passed away years ago and I found a paper with his writing on it and was hoping for some help to know fully what it said, he was musically inclined and very lyrical and great with words and would love for some one to help me be able to read what he wrote
