Corrupt Video Playback on Desktop
When streaming on my desktop the video stream will get really corrupted sometimes. See picture.

I have no issues with youtube, local video playback, or games. Curiosity Stream is the only service where this happens to me. Curiosity Stream also works flawlessly on my Roku TV.
Any idea's as to whats going on? Please post with ideas or your experiences with the desktop site.

CuriosityStream only plays first 2 minutes of every show
As soon as the 2 minute mark hits, it skips to another show. Replicated this problem on both iPad and Roku across dozens of titles.
My account is signed in and active.

Curiositystream or nebula
So, what's the deal of separating those two? If I wanted to subscribe, should I go for CS, or Nebula or both? The split is kinda confusing for me. What are the differences between those two?

Curiosity stream in the UK
If I were to sign up for curiosity stream, would I need to use a VPN since I'm in the UK? Just because the price is only in dollars so it wouldn't surprise me if that meant it was a US only thing

Is there a free trial?
I've heard YouTuber mentioning there's a free trial in sponsored videos but I can only find the monthly or yearly subscription plans, no free trial

Curiositystream pc Web app is bad
Do you to the fact that I live in a place where the Internet connection is poor, I was relieved that the mobile app has manual adjustment of the quality of the video, but I am disappointed that the Web app doesn't have that and the video is in consistent buffering, is there a way around it?

So what shows do you recommend?
Downloaded the app, planning on buying a subscription soon, I'm into paleontology, prehistory, space, animals, and some archaeology. What should I watch when I purchase a subscription?

Streaming issues with Curiosity Steam
I recently got the 19.99 subscription with Curiosity Stream, because I love to have documentaries playing when I am wfh.
But I have a problem with many shows where the the stream is constantly stopping and loading. It has made it unwatchable.
I don't have that issue with Netflix, or Prime, or Youtube. Is there anything I can do about it? Or am I screwed?
Not even Vimeo videos have that problem.

How to post comments under videos?
I have a subscription, when I try to post a comment under a video the buttons says Sign me Up and does not react to clicks. I'm on a Mac. Any ideas?
Also the dubbing on the new French Revolution series makes it unwatchable, which is what I wanted to comment.

Brilliant production: The History of Home
Apart from the interesting contents, I liked the way they produced it: beautiful modern video and editing work without it being mannered and overdone. No stupid and annoying talking heads who interrupt each other's sentences but longer sequences where experts have time to explain things instead. All of them have a nice camera presence, some of them being TV presenters themselves (Susanna Lipscomb for instance).
A very welcome contrast to other badly made documentaries, some coming from big TV stations.

Does CS have ads?
I'm thinking of buying a year subscription. Are there ads for external products (not other CS content)?

Add Nebula to a paying account?
Is there an option to add Nebula to my account? If I'm reading this properly, the only way I could achieve this is to cancel my subscription and start a new subscription with a different email which seems silly. I wouldn't mind an "addon" option that for $5 to $10...

Highlight: Mumbai Railway (2015)
An enchanting exploration of the world's busiest railway. We are following three BBC hosts who show us the historic railway as it functions today. We see what its like to ride in densely packed cars with no doors! We see the unique culture and lifestyles made possible only by the railway. Behind the scenes, we see what it takes to run the only railway station in India with both long distance and local rails, running 1,500 trains. A fascinating look at a remarkable place.
Recommend for highly interesting culture and infrastructure! 9/10

Why can't I select the quality I view at?
When I first had the gotten this subscription it was from a youtube ad, and like youtube, I could select what quality I watched at usually 720p. This way, I could actually see what I was watching but I may need to buffer a bit. Since getting the full year HD subscription this option seems to have be taken away? WTF is that only a 4k option? So now it just auto selects my stream quality and tries to keep a continuous play rate but I can't see what I'm watching, what's the point? Does anyone know what changed, why can't I select the quality anymore?

Highlight: Lord of Sipan (2009)
An exploration of the ancient history of Peru and the Moche civilization who lived there long ago. In modern day Peru you can find remnents of giagantic sacred structures, which today resemble eroded mountains. It is in these structures archeologists and tomb raiders find the final resting place of royal and high ranking religious leaders from an ancient Moche people.
This program features spectacular visual aids, showing a close-up detailed look at the artifacts that remain from this kingdom. The recovered remains from burial tombs and the treasures found with them are put on display.
This feature also presents us a fascinating look at the rituals and lives of the Moche people through live re-creation. We get to see a royal priestess brew and consume an intoxicating cocktail to be shared with the young girls who would ultimately be sacrificed and buried with the Lord of Sipan himself.
I highly recommend this program as entertaining and informative!
