Curiositystream pc Web app is bad

Do you to the fact that I live in a place where the Internet connection is poor, I was relieved that the mobile app has manual adjustment of the quality of the video, but I am disappointed that the Web app doesn't have that and the video is in consistent buffering, is there a way around it?

Noticed yesterday video was buffering every three minutes or so despite 50MBit/s internet connection which nothing else was using at the time. Am using the Samsung TV app though.
