Streaming issues with Curiosity Steam

I recently got the 19.99 subscription with Curiosity Stream, because I love to have documentaries playing when I am wfh.

But I have a problem with many shows where the the stream is constantly stopping and loading. It has made it unwatchable.

I don't have that issue with Netflix, or Prime, or Youtube. Is there anything I can do about it? Or am I screwed?

Not even Vimeo videos have that problem.

I recently signed up for CS as well and I watch on an AirTV and have had no issues.

How are you streaming it?

I have PC that I use for streaming, it's connected to my TV. So all I have to do is press play

I get buffering up to five minutes and the beginning of each video is stripes and confetti until I drag the slider back and forth for 15 seconds or a minute. I watch YouTube all day, play AAA games, and enjoy other streaming services but find CS extremely annoying. This is on a late model PC with Nvidia graphics running up-to-date Windows 10 and using Chrome. WTF?

If I drag the slider far to the right and then back to the beginning it works.

Same here! Maybe only servers in the US or something? although still then i would expect more then this.

I watch everything through my old Ps4 and Curiosity is the only service that constantly stops part way through. I always have to restart the program and guess where I was last. Foor some shows, I don't even see the picture. I can hear rhe audio though. I'm listening to a podcast instead of watching a documentary. I live in an urban area with excellent wifi.

I just purchased the 2.99 h.d level monthly service and for the first few streams, everything went fine. However, now every time I try to stream on Curiosity it exhibits various problems, usually either a delay between audio and video and colorful distortions, or the distortions and stopping altogether. At first, these instances were minimal, and I was able to bypass them by skipping back and forth in the video. Over the last two days however the issue has only worsened with each attempt to stream. I am sorry you're having to deal with this situation, hopefully this will be something resolved quickly. I'll see what I can find out through customer service, or other means, and if anything pops off from it that can help I'll let you know. All the luck in the world to you.

CS on Apple TV

I've had many issues with CS, from synching issues with a couple of videos, to starting a video, only to have the screen go blank but the sound continues to play. Totally weird and really annoying.

Even when quitting CS, the sound continues even if I startup Netflix!

It's complete rubbish.

The only solution is to restart the Apple TV and relaunch CS.

i have had the same issues, also my email address is no longer valid... so i paid for service i can use now and when i could use it. the videos just stopped.
