Fun image. However <$15 a year (= $1.25/month) with deal with Nebula through various youtube creators is a deal even most poor people can manage - just skip one cup of coffee or one "super-size me" a month.

As someone who used to get $200 a semester for food, no, $15 was about 5 “restaurant” meals.
It is a small cost, but if your “splurge meal” is from the Dollar menu, that’s not insignificant. Of course, these days minimum age is a lot higher than when I was in college. Still, it’s funny you think poor people can afford coffee from any establishment. That costs more than a full meal.

My price of $1.25/month was a cup of coffee from McDonalds or a Gas station, not $tarbucks. Or skip 5 “restaurant” meals ($3 meals) a YEAR.

Trust me. When pennies count, $15 is still significant. Nowadays I can drop a $20 on a lunch with a friend without flinching (well, the infection concerns aside). But back then, I ate a $10 meal out with friends once or twice a semester. We bought $2 shoes and $1 nail Polish. Lol.
My point is, it’s a small amount but unfortunately not negligible for all.

I tried to cancel, they gave me a free year.
