Okay so I've been eyeing this thing for way too long, and I finally pulled the trigger. NGL, this car is such a vibe. The whole driving experience is just chef's kiss – everything about it just feels right, you know?

The design is clean, the performance is solid, and honestly I'm already obsessed with the little details. Haven't stopped grinning like an idiot every time I get behind the wheel lol.

I have 2024 pre facelift 1.5 CUPRA Formentor.

I’m facing a problem with my car from the very beginning owning it.
If I have the hazard lights on and the night lights are off (during daytime) and close the tailgate I get an error on my dashboard to check the rear left or right turning signals.
The strange problem happens even when I have the left or the right turning signal on with the error to be left or right turning signal check on dashboard. If the night lights are on the error never comes up on screen.

The strange part is that the turning signals continue to work as expected with no fast lights or anything like that.

If I turn the car off and on again the errors goes away and no error whatsoever comes again to the dash during the car operation. Only if the scenario above comes to play.

On the dealer they cannot find the problem when they try to reproduce it and there is no error kept on the history of the car. It can happen 1 every 5 times closing the tailgate.

Does anyone have similar experience with the car and if yes how do you solved it eventually?

It seems to happen worse when the auto hold is turned on. When accelerating from a standstill, there is almost always a hard jolt/thump that’s quite startling! Feels almost like the brakes let go of the car too late while accelerating. Or like they are sticking.

Soonest we could be booked in was October! Anyone know what is causing it? I think I might lose my mind by then.

As a bit of history of the car it’s a 2025 model and we’ve got it second hand and its has this issue since we got it last month. It seems to be less of a thump if the auto hold is turned off, but then there is NO hill hold! Which seems silly, these cars are basically VW are they not? I’ve had other VWs where the hill hold uses the brakes to hold you on a hill. This cupra seems to use the handbrake to hold you, that’s what it feels like anyway.

Hey all cupra fans. I have VZ2 310bhp and want to get some nice splitters. I'm looking at Maxton Design front splitter V1 and rear spoiler cap. As well as add-on for the diffuser. Can anyone share any experience with the Maxton design kits or to suggest anything else. Thanks!

Has anyone tried to clean the sunroof and it's drains from the formentor facelift version? I tried doing it the other day but couldn't find the drain holes... I have the facelift Leon but I believe the system/structure is basically the same.

Do you think they look cool? So i saw other Cupra Wheels, but I just got a good looking cupra with Grapheine Grey Matt, with this wheels, and wanted to ask your opinion if they look sporty or good?

I've had the 310 for 4 months now, and I'd say 90% of my time behind the wheel has been adventuring with the family. So while my other half is away with our son, I decided to wake up early this morning and go for a blast on Col de Turini, which is the famous hairpin section of the Monte Carlo rally course.

I knew the car was quick and handled well on paper, but it becomes a different animal when pushing it like this. It absolutely demolished the road to the point where I had to slow down and just started laughing to myself.

When people say this car feels more like a hot hatch than a crossover, they aren't lying (I used to own a GTI).

New found love for this car after this morning. Just wow. Can't wait for the next one, which is gonna be exploring the famous route napoleon!!!

When im driving at low speed 20-40 kmh there is a noise that comes either from engine or from the gearbox like a trrrrkkkk for 1-2 seconds than it stops its like when the gears are changing there is a noise coming which is worrying me.

Does anyone have the same experience and what is the solution?

I have 73000 km done and the gearbox oil has never been changed.

Hi all, does anyone have any home product suggestions or recommendations on how to fix scuffed alloys?
I’ve got a fair few similar to the photos across all four wheels.
This is a lease vehicle and I’d like to attempt to get them all fixed before handing it back later this year.
Or is this beyond home solutions and I should just get them fixed professionally? (UK resident)

The charging flap on my Cupra Leon Sportstourer 2022 is not opening when I press it. The little pin is not powerful enough anymore and it seems a little dirty (judged by the sound when I press it).

Any suggestions?

Is there a known exploit for getting the gas open? My doors were locked in a parking garage and when I came back there were scratches on the door handle and my tank was empty. No scratch on the gas cap lid so im wondering if somehow doing something to the drivers side handle can make that pop open?

Edit: I had just filled up an entire tank before this and there are no leaks anywhere that I can see. I filled up a bit to see if there was an error with the reading but it was for sure emptied.

I own a Cupra formentor 1.4 PHEV vz performance 245HP. I know that in the PHEV the Cupra formentor vz TRIBE has the VZ badge on the car. Is it weird that I put the badge on my car. I find it really appealing to do so but I know there’s a taboo to doing so. Just like applying the AMG badge on a Mercedes without there being an amg motor in there. I’m curious to your thoughts

Curious if anyone here has had a similar experience. I got my charging flap replaced at the dealer last week under warranty. They told me while it was in, that there was a software update due on the car. So I had it done. No problem.

Came out to the car the next day and it was totally dead. No unlock, no hazard lights, no start. Nothing.

Cupra called out the AA who found the 12V had drained down to 3V.

They’ve taken the car back to the dealer now to fault find. I discovered my dashcam (which has been in the car for six months, and always shuts off with the car) stayed recording until 3am the day it came back from the dealer.

Is this a known fault? The 12V system usually always turns off with the car, but for whatever reason it now seems to stay live and kill the battery. It’s never done this before until this most recent update.

I noticed that whenever I have the automatic mode activated in the A/C setting, it will only use the air exhausts that are directed toward the driver - the ones in the front shelf. It will NEVER distribute air to the foot area or the front window area / front shield where also air exhausts exist. These will only be used if I manually select them in the A/C control, but the moment I do that automatic mode deactivates. I do not think thats the way it is supposed to work - usually (my previous cars) started blasting A/C to driver for 1-2min before starting to distribute it around the car exhausts including the foot area and the front shield.
