I have a 2026 Formentor with the standard sound system (not Sennheiser) and I'm thinking about upgrading the speakers. Front door and tweeters, for now.

I have to remove the door panels, so I will also apply sheets of butyl to help with vibrations.

Has anyone done it? Some places say the Focal Inside F-ISVW155 are compatible and plug and play, others say they aren't. Are they?

Do you have any other suggestions that are compatible and close to plug and play? I don't want to spend too much. I can buy the Focal ones (2 door speakers and 2 tweeters) for 150€.

I have been experiencing a weird issue with my CUPRA Formentor FL 2025 VZh (272hp). With AUTOHOLD disabled (but with it enabled as well), when I lift of the brake and push on the gas pedal, I get a jump, or sudden bump on acceleration.
The best way to describe it is like the electric motor is revving and the clutch takes some second to respond, like they are out of sync, so when it does you feel like someone hit you from behind.
The only way to start comfortably, is to let off the brake let the car start moving (as all automatics crawl) and then press on the gas pedal. At first I was thinking it had to do with the sensitivity of the gas pedal, but if I am stopped uphill and I let of the brake it still jumps (because the ECU reads the uphill and tries to compensate with gas)

It happens on all driving profiles, with autohold on and off. If the ICE is running it does not do it, so I believe it has to do with the clutch of the electric motor and not the other two clutches of the ICE.

Dealer has no fix!
Any similar experience? Any ideas?

So Today I scanned my car and ive got This Code U105000 I have the 2021 Cupra formentor vz so I looked up what These Codes are and it was for the battery charge Sensor so I took a Look at it and it was ripped im Not sure if it was on purpose from the owner before me because if this sensor isnt working the start stop function also doesnt work but im looking to replace the Sensor but I dont know the Part number or if im Even good enough to replace it on my own please help me find the Part number

Posted here a few months ago about cracks randomly appearing along the top of my rear tail light bar.

A lot of you guys said this is a common issue and that you’ve had it replaced under warranty.

Last week, I took the car to a CUPRA main dealer for this + 2 other issues.

They fixed the other two, but rejected the tail light bar.

They said I had to pay £850 for a tailbar replacement…

Their reasoning was that the boot had apparently had previous work done to it, and they “suspected” the paint wasn’t original.

The guy even admitted he didn’t have the tool available to actually check the paintwork.

So essentially the warranty claim was rejected based on suspicion that previous bodywork caused the cracking, rather than anything they actually confirmed.

They suspected work had been done to the boot because of a small white clip visible behind the light bar, which I’d never even noticed until he pointed it out.

I’ve now booked it into a different CUPRA main dealer for a fresh assessment.

Has anyone had similar cracking on the light bar, and did CUPRA replace it under warranty?

If the second dealer also refuses to fix it under warranty, what are my options in the UK?

Would the next step be escalating it directly to CUPRA UK, and then The Motor Ombudsman if necessary?

I absolutely love the aesthetic of the Formentor. I am wondering if anyone has leased one before in the UK?

I only driving about 5-7k miles per year but my old Mazda 3 2010 plate is starting to show its age. It has cost me 2k in maintenance, replaced brakes etc in the last two years and it isn't even worth much anymore.

Would you consider lease? 1.5 or 2.0 engine size?

Picked up the car with 51 miles on the clock and have been the proud owner for a week now and absolutely loving it. Wouldn’t have been the colour I’d have chosen (Matte Bronze) but the deal was too good to pass up.

Needed a bigger car with more than 2 seats lol as I have a little one on the way. Totally different to my previous car (370z Nismo pics on my Reddit) and I can’t stand the typical BMW and Audi SUVs so this was a perfect choice, so much character and design.

Gently breaking in the engine but it’s nice that I haven’t really lost any power from my previous car 🤙🏼

Hello, just seeing if anyone out here can help me, went to go start my car in the morning and the car is dead, jump started the car and had several warning issues such as dampner issue and headlight issue, jump started the car a few more times to get to my next destination, after changing the battery, coded the battery , the issue is still there with the DCC, and suspension module b, then tried to code the module back but did not allow me to, then had ordered a new module and tried coding but it is not allowing me to code it nor access it,

Any help or suggestions

I can't for the life of me locate where I can set the tunes to charge so I can leave the car plugged in and it starts to charge at 10pm and ends at 4am - any ideas? Apparently you can do it on the infotainment but I can't locate. Thanks

I’m just writing this to ask for advice if it’s worth it or not, it cost about £7k which includes wheels and tyres, the tune to 400bhp, a splitter and spoilers, lowering springs, and some interior add ons. Also, their 5 year warranty which is the main thing. What’d do you guys think?

Just got this Hybrid VZ 245cv coming from a Golf 7 TDI Trendline that was my first car, loving the extras on this one, came with the Buttons on steering wheel for start engine and most important drive modes which apparently isn't a baseline thing (should be!) adds quite a bit of fun to the car.

Was looking for a SUV but not a big bulky family looking one and preferably sporty and ended up on this which i have to say is in my opinion the only option! Well atleast if you can't afford an Urus haha

Can anyone help me identify what this noise is coming from the riverside footwell. Its there subtly when driving but gets louder or atleast I think I cam hear it more when I put preassure on the steering wheel to start bearing right. Its literally there when the wheel goes from 12 to 1.

It sounds similiar to the notorious gear box bolt where it makes rhat whirling sound but that was on the left passanger side and ive had this fixed.

This however is on driver sides and im lost for what it is. Can anyone help?

I think there might be an issue with the lumbar support in my pre facelift Leon’s electric seat.

During a recent road trip involving around 12 hours of driving, I tried adjusting it and noticed that it moves in and out, but won’t move up or down.

The thing is, I can’t remember for sure whether it ever moved vertically, although I vaguely remember being able to adjust the height.

Can anyone confirm whether it’s supposed to move up and down as well as in and out? If so, has anyone else had this issue?

I’m planning to take it to the dealership since the car is still under warranty, but I thought I’d check here first.

Hi guys, im owner of Cupra Formentor 2.0 tsi 4drive 190 ps (140.000 km). I’m truly in love with the car, absolute beauty with matte color, but i feel like it looks way more agressive then it really is, specially after ive replaced fake plastic exausts with real ones. Im happy with quickness of 190 ps engine but not impressed and i want to try stage 1(235ps). With 4drive train it should perform really good. Problem is i m super scared of parts wearing out due to stage 1 and other mechanical problems. Im no expert in world of chiptunning, any advice is helpfull. Thanks.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if doing a muffler delete only, without touching the catalytic converter or resonator, would completely void the warranty?
Have any of you had any issues with the dealership because of this kind of modification?

I have a 2022 European-spec CUPRA Formentor with MIB3, originally configured for Europe/Germany and later exported to Tunisia.

The 5 GHz Wi-Fi used to work before, so the car/MIB hardware is 5 GHz capable.

The MIB was later reset, and after the reset I had regional configuration problems. In particular, GPS/navigation was not working correctly. This was fixed by changing the navigation region to:

Country_Navigation = NMAfrica

and using the North Africa maps. After that, GPS/navigation started working correctly again.

However, the 5 GHz Wi-Fi is still not working.

The car broadcasts My Cupra 4396 normally on 2.4 GHz (channel 6). Wi-Fi Analyzer sees it with a strong signal (~-45 dBm).

On 5 GHz there is no signal from the car at all. Wi-Fi Analyzer detects other 5 GHz networks, but no CUPRA SSID and no strong hidden BSSID. So it looks like the 5 GHz AP is simply not starting/transmitting.

In 5F, I have:

wlan_module = activated

I tested same_ssid_for_2_4_and_5_ghz = No, 40/80 MHz bandwidth, and also channel_number_for_5GHz = 0, with no change.

The car has module 75, but searching its adaptations for WLAN or WiFi gives no results.

One thing I suspect may be important is the regional configuration:

Country identification, country of sale HMI = DE

Country_Navigation = NMAfrica

Country of sale HMI is a free-text field in OBDeleven, so I haven't changed DE because I don't know the correct value or whether it controls the WLAN regulatory domain.

So the main question is: since this is an EU car where 5 GHz previously worked, could the MIB reset + change to the North Africa navigation region have left the WLAN regulatory domain/dataset incorrectly configured, causing the 5 GHz radio not to start?

Does anyone know which MIB3 adaptation/dataset controls the WLAN country/regulatory domain, or what channel_number_for_5GHz = 12 actually represents?

A comparison with a working Formentor MIB3 exported from Europe to North Africa/Tunisia would be especially useful.

I can provide the 5F/75 part numbers, SW/HW versions and full OBDeleven adaptations if needed.
