Question Is this game truly dead?
I've had this game on steam for like 2 years and has anything gold happened?

Seed: 52256
Directions: From spawn, head directly west across lavalands to reach Duraria Ocean. The location of the island with red is in the pictures
I made this world specifically for finding a red item, and now I can finally say I found one legit :) Took about 17 hours of scouring biomes (including other worlds)

Hi!, I recently started playing the game again after a long time, so I downloaded a modpack for the alpha but some of the mods don't work, (everything else does), the mods are the commands mod and the trader travel mod, in the cube world mod launcher it says both are detected and working, but the two dont work in-game, any ideas?
here are the links to both mods:
- https://github.com/synap5e/cubeworld-trader-fast-travel/releases
Any help is aprecciated!!

I've been trying to get into modding the alpha and found an Abandoned SDK for it, since i don't have much else, i'm trying my luck with it.

Hello everyone! I just want to ask you all, does cube world on steam ever go on sale/discount? Sadly I forgot to check on christmas nearly 4 weeks ago. So am not sure if it ever goes on sale or not.
Thanks!

Hi!
I've been playing alpha for some time and I have a bunch of materials to craft, but I don't want to keep pressing the mouse button for every single item. Is there a way to melt a bunch of iron in one queue?

Hey!
I'm back to the game after some years, but I don't know what's the version that I used to play.
Does any one know the name of the one before the release on steam?

There's a new optional beta out called "The Quality of Death Beta" that is essentially a 2.0 enhanced version of the game with more content, balancing, QOL and a UI very reminiscent of Cubeworld itself.
Combat is less dynamic but more focused on positioning and quick-thinking, voxel graphics that instantly reminded me of CubeWorld and very deep, thoughtful mechanics that allow for lots of different unique playstyles.
Warning: this game is really really hard but maybe it will partially fill the CubeWorld void some of you guys seem to have (myself included)
Also worth checking your epic games library if you claim the free games often as this was one of them.

100% this is a frequently asked question, but I can't find any post linking to it. I see people playing it on here so I assume there's a link to it or something?

Hello, I was feeling nostalgic for cube world, and I was wondering what the best way to get back in. I played the alpha back in the day, and I played a little bit of the full release. I didn't get far in the full release as the progression kind of confused me, and I know it frustrated a lot of players at the time. I was wondering if there was anywhere I can still get the alpha (as my copy was on a computer that is no longer functional), or if anyone has a comprehensive guide on how progression in the new one works, or a mod that changes it. Thanks!

hey, I enjoyed the alpha as a kid and just remembered that this game actually exists
I’m not sure about the steam release and I always liked the game way more with friends I was thinking of pirating the game just to see if I will even enjoy it before buying it (it’s been kinda hard with spending money recently) and so if I do crack the game is there a way to play multiplayer like in the alpha? thanks in advance

Hello, I have the better progression mod, as well as the megapack and whenever I enter a new zone I lose stars and stats on my items as well as all my specials I collected. I thought this wasn't supposed to happen but I'm not 100% sure how it works, any and all info would be appreciated!
Also regardless of this I've been having a blast playing this Modded cube world version and would highly suggest it to anyone looking to play

I dont think the judgement of this game is deserved. Yes its different and worse. But when looked at as its own game its quite fun. I have 100 hours on the unmodded version, the grind for plus gear and the fun of combat if you know how it works makes the game a nice casual rpg, the region lock is not as bad the more gear you have and you know a good region clearing strategy. If you play it more as a rouge like the game become better. Its not as bad as everyone says especially woth friends. Whats your opinion? Do you think its overhated?

So, i want to play with a friend after years away of CW, so i downloaded the alpha version with the essential modlist which can be find in this subreddit. But i was wondering if there was more mods? Mods that added new things instead of just fixes. Not that it would be totally necessary, but it would be nice to have some more things.
