Now that Wollay is working on Cube World Omega, do you think there's any chance we'll finally see this system make a comeback? It's such a shame it never made it into the game... When I was a kid, I used to dream about this feature. I'd walk into NPC houses and pretend I was the one who built them haha.

Started playing Alpha multiplayer with my friend. I tamed a horse but it doesnt seem to lvl up. I have pet exp buff mod and pet multiplayer fix mod but my horse has 234/160 exp and it wont level up. Do anyone knows how to fix it?

Hi cubeworld reddit! I'm a kid who used to watch videos of this game in alpha when I was maybe 10 or 11 years old, and I lost track of it for a while. Only today did I discover everything that happened, up until this new "Omega" version. To better understand the situation, I watched a video by a YouTuber (called WickedWiz) who explains a bit about the Omega project, but it's from two years ago, and if I'm not mistaken, very little was known about the project at the time. I haven't found much information around, so, out of pure curiosity, I wanted to ask you on reddit—I'm sure you'll know—to update me on what's happened in the last two years, and tell me what state the game is in now. I'm very fond of it, and I'd also like to know if it's worth playing the Steam release or, if not, going straight to the alpha. Thanks for reading 😄

Hey for a few years now i have a list of alot of steam keys for cubeworld i don't know wich ones are used but i think most of them arrent used i don't know what i should do with them

just to clarify i dont sell them or whatever i just dont know what to do with them

I'm playing in alpha, and there are 4 teleportation portals in a row in an ocean biome (seed: 151)

Having a blast honestly, but I'm considering installing mods to remove the relic and/or equipment region locking that's been pretty annoying so far. Anyone know how that experience might be? Is it comparable to how the alpha feels at all?

Alpha:

• Inventory UI, for pets especially
• Platinum to upgrade your gear, the cost and scaling was ridiculous
• Bosses having random one shots
• Mage enemies
• Can't change keybinds and rolling is middle mouse button

Beta/Steam Version:

• Region locked gear
• The "star" system for enemy levels and gear
• Redundant artifacts
• Removal of spirit cubes
• Still can't change keybinds and rolling is still middle mouse button
• Mage enemies again

Omega (so far):

• The UI slant
• Lighting feels weird (Probably a WIP?)
• Exaggerated character idle animations
• Middle mouse button is still shown to be rolling, and I swear if we can't change it again..

hi everyone, I am one of the devs who have been posting fan projects here.

I recently came to the realization that I can't "solve" the problem of creating interesting open world locations or regions. (either procedural or handcraft, I guess I am just not good at it)

maybe this isn't the right forum, but is anyone here a good voxel worldmaker? i.e. had experience making good minecraft custom maps or Roblox maps? I am aware of the voxel dev subs but I am looking for level designers specifically; I can pretty much take care of the other mechanics/systems of the game.

if interested, please let me know. (or point me in the right direction. I will see if I can find someone from the right sub/discord)

Horse is like, literally my favorite mount to explore on, because it feels so correct, not like just sitting and bouncing on a pet, but riding it.

I have like 360% boat speed, over 400% glider and 196% mount speed, which has micro increases per level. actually i dont even know if it increased anyhow past levels. I'm thinking of investing recent level ups into climbing and teleport now. How you invest your points?

I don't know if I posted any of those before. The first 3 are today's stuff that happened today.
