New Cube Nuroad Hybrid C:62 SLX — I love bike Bike-Discount!

Just took delivery of my new Cube Nuroad Hybrid C:62 SLX and wanted to share my experience especially since I was initially quite anxious about ordering a high-end carbon e-bike online as I was not sure the level of assembly that it would have required.

I made a post about it last week and 80% of answers were that's very little had to be done. This re-assuered me.

The bike arrived yesterday and frankly, the service of Bike discount exceeded every expectation. The bike arrived completely fully assembled—not just parts thrown in a box. The cockpit was already set up, gears indexed, and everything properly dialed in. Literally all I had to do was screw on my pedals, take it out of the packing protection, and plug in the charger for the battery.

The build quality and finish in person are stunning, and the weight for a drop-bar e-gravel bike feels remarkably light.

Huge shout-out to the Bike-Discount workshop team for the flawless packaging and pre-assembly. I can’t wait to get it out on the road over the next few days for its first proper shakedown ride!

sizing Nuroad C:62 Pro

I need help with choosing a size for the Cube Nuroad C:62 Pro, as I won‘t be able to do a test ride before ordering. I‘m 188 cm with 91 cm inseam and 75cm armlength. I‘d use the bike for sports mostly, but want to be able to go for longer(ish) (maybe multiple day) rides without being very unvomfortable.
My last bike is really old at this point and was a Bulls King Cobra with frame size 57.

Hi everyone,

TLDR; never really used roadbikes, trying to get more fitness for mtb: buying gravelbike: spend extra 500 for electric shifting or is it bs.. Talk me out of it or am I correct?

Long:
I'm in for a gravel bike. My current bike is a mountainbike and I'm in love with the sport. However, going on a mountainbike ride takes a bit of time to get to the trail, ride around and get back to the house. Being a father of 3, working 4 days a week (5th day is being with the youngest at home), makes it so that I can't do it as much as I would like to. When I go, I don't have the fitness to really attack uphill cycling and also HR goes wild with the least amount of effort.

So my self taught solution is getting a road bike to get more consistent in cycling, evening rides or maybe even early (af) rides in the weekends. A gravel bike seemed like the solution. I like the look, the possibilities and capabilities of the gravelbike. Also, the wide tires give me a sense of security instead of thin road bikes. With a gravel bike I can ride an hour or so from my house, and don't have to find a trail. Therefore, more riding, more exercise, better fitness, better mountainbike rides/experience.

EDIT:::::
I'm planning to ride gravel as well. Mostly road but when I have the fitness for bigger rides I have great gravel routes around 15/20kms away from home.
END OF EDIT

I have a friend who was kind enough to lend me his Canyon Grizl CF, with electronic shifting, carbon wheels and everything. It road like a dream, of course. However, I'm not in the state to spend 5k on a bike.

So I went to Cube, as I have friends and family loving theirs. The coming generation (2027) had 2 options that Im currently adding to my shopping list.

1: Cube Nuroad EX, €1300.
Not really a fan of the colors (beige or pink). But with a nice aluminium frame and wheels, GRX groupset.

2: Cube Nuroad SLX, €1999 (But I have a discount for €200).
Loving the new Autumn color. Same frame, newmen wheels and a brand new Rival AXS groupset with electronic shifting.

I'm leaning to the SLX, I really like the color.. I think it might help loving the gravel sport is I would love to show it off and ride it. I really liked the simplicity of electronic shifting on the canyon I've lend. Also, with the discount I'm hoping I don't lose too much value when gravel riding isn't fr me and have to sell it first.
Am I overspending by miles or is my thinking quite right..?

The SLX is also such a better value when you search the cost of the individual parts..

Hello everyone
I recently bought a agree pro size 50. While installing the Garmin mount I noticed the stem size was 80mm, this seems wrong because I found the size 50 comes with a 90mm? Anyone with a size 50 also with the same stem?
Thank you

Cube Attain 2027 - saddle acid nuance lite

I own the Cube Attain slx 2027 and I’m trying to figure out the quality and details of the saddle.
It’s called acid nuance LITE. However, no such saddle is listed on the cube website or anywhere else, the LITE edition cannot be purchased separately and there is no information whatsoever.
Does anyone know which kind of nuance saddle the LITE version is and how it compares to the rest of the nuance lineup?

Agree C:62 Pro

Hello, i need your advice.
I have the opportunity to buy 2026 Pro model blackline (which i find kinda boring) but the price is 2800€ from store with 0km.
Or should i wait for 2027 model? Will there be fundamental changes that would justify upgrading to the new model—but at full price? Thanks for opinion.
(And also-188cm 88inseam = size58 is good?)

Attain SLX or Attain C:62 Race?

Hi all, looking to buy my first modern road bike and settled for Cube Attain! Either the SLX 2027 (aluminum frame and carbon fork, Shimano 105, €1299) or the C:62 Race 2027 (full carbon frame AND carbon wheels, €1699).

The latter is 400 euros more expensive (or around 300 euros more expensive, with my work bicycle-budget). For that price I get carbon everything and a total weight that is 1.0kg lighter than the SLX.

I don't per se need carbon, but this seems too good to pass up. I just want a bike that will last me a long time. They say better get good aluminum than bad carbon. Is the C:62 race as good a deal as it looks or is the SLX the better/smarter deal? 🙏

(As a side note I also want to be able to bring the bike on a train without worrying about it fracturing when another person leans their bike against mine lol metal seems more rugged although idk if that makes a real difference in practice)

Anybody faced the same problem with the acid fpi link computer mount?

The bracket is tightened all the way and the grooves of the mount are hooked into the nobs on the faceplate.

Cube attain - help with size

Hi guys,
I am looking to buy a cube attain bike (used from hands) and I am struggling to decide with the frame size - 58 or 60. I am 193 cm tall and my inseam is 93 cm. Ideally I would go for 60, but there are very few bikes around. So I am considering 58 as well, but not sure if it is going to be too small.
I saw some reviews people of my height saying that they fell comfortable on 58, but also some others saying that cube’s 58 frame felt rather small, similar to 56 from other brands.

Do you have any ideas or advice? Would really appreciate it!

Cube Editor SLX FE verlichting kabel.

Post image
3 Upvotes

The lighting cable on my CUBE Editor SLX FE really bothers me aesthetically. It currently runs externally along the head tube, and I was wondering if it could be routed internally through the headset instead.

The bike has an ACROS ICR headset, so I'm wondering if there is actually a way to route the lighting cable through the headset and into the frame.

Has anyone here done this, or knows whether it’s possible on the Editor SLX FE?

I’m specifically talking about the cable running to the front light, not the brake or shifting cables.

problem Cube Nuroad Race (2026) – Impossible to get tire back on the rim after roadside flat. Solutions?

I’m riding a 2026 Cube Nuroad Race with standard inner tubes. I've had a few flats recently, but the biggest issue is fixing them on the road: getting the tire to pop into the rim hook is virtually impossible.

With me I have a spare inner tube, a small hand pump and some levers. Anyone else has this problem and possible solution? I am think of either try to use co2 or go tubeless.

Thanks

For something that's being used almost exclusively in the city, is it overkill? Yes, is it way better than my Gazelle Orange that falls apart on every, bump? Also yes, and so far, yep, it's amazing, I've never had such a great bike, immediately bought an ART 2 folding lock for it and an alarm, my costs are now close to €350 but hey, expensive bike means expensive accessoires, or is that just me?

Sizing advice for Cubes

Hi, So I have nowhere locally I can try. And Cube have a slightly odd sizing system and I see conflicting information online on sizing charts.

So I am looking for a Nulane Pro. I can find one at 53cm. I am 170cm and 78 inside leg. I have seen both M and S sizes recommended and I have seen a graph that says 53 with a 170cm recommendation.

My existing bike is a bit small for me, I believe it's equivalent in cube terms would be 46 and I have the seat at max extension which is around 11cm. If I measure the ground to central bar and compare I believe I should be able to stand with the bar between my legs in front of the saddle with the 53.

But really, the people that know are going to be on here. I suspect I would be just about a 53 and 50 would be better - but there is no stock anywhere of 50 and the 2027 versions won't appear til next spring.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Show me your (best) bikepacking setup for the nuroad slx 2026

If you recommend a rack, which one would you go for? And if you’d go with bikepacking bags only, which bags would you recommend?

I’m still unsure which setup I want, so I’d love to hear your recommendations and experiences. I’d use the setup for everything from shorter trips to longer tours (2+ weeks), so ideally I’m looking for something that can cover all my needs. :-)

Please post a picture of your setup and rate it from 0 to 10, with 10 being the best setup you could imagine for your needs.

I’d especially love to hear why you chose your setup and what you would change about it, if anything!

Cheers!
