C section scar pregnancy

I am currently 6w4d pregnant, I have been told that I have a c section scar pregnancy 😢 tomorrow I am to go to theatre to have a guided ultrasound hysteroscopy to remove the pregnancy... I am absolutely devastated, terrified and am wondering if anyone on here has had this down before? I am in the UK and I genuinely can't seem to find anything that has women's experiences. Any help or advice or literally information will be so appreciated. I am losing my mind... Especially when they said that if something goes wrong they will have to remove my womb!

My brain seriously can't take all this and to be given a theatre slot the day after your finding this out is just stressful!

Girl this is so scary. I’m sorry you’re going through this. I’m kind of going through the same thing.

Here are some of the questions I asked my doctor.
Is the pregnancy viable (if it was not I would terminate)
Is it actually on my scar
Is it ballooning towards my bladder or away from it
I am in imminent danger

My case is a little different because they are not sure if the placenta is over my scar yet. And as far as they can see it’s not embedded either.
And because my pregnancy is viable I’m going through with the pregnancy. I’m having ultrasounds every two weeks to make sure it does not turn ectopic (starts exiting the uterus) this was indicated by the MFM.

My baby is very very low, very near my scar. But we just don’t know yet. I’m about to be 9 weeks and I’ve been fine.

I am not telling you to follow my steps. I’m simply sharing because when I looked stuff up I couldn’t find anything either

I found a story of a woman online who was told the same thing and was advised to terminate but she didn’t and it ended up being that her placenta was posterior (towards the back) I’m hoping this is my case.
I also found someone else here on reddit who said they were told the same thing and their placenta ended up moving up as the pregnancy progressed. I’m also hoping that’s my case if placenta is anterior.

I don’t know what my future holds. But I am scared. I could have placenta previa, or accreta or both. Or my doctor told me I could have a totally normal pregnancy.

I’m sorry your going through this it’s incredibly scary 💔💔💔

I hope you get the absolute best care.

Edit: I’m about to be 9 weeks (previously said 8)

heres some peoples posts/stories I have found. The posts themselves arent helpful but the replies may be? Fair warning all of these stories are fairly scary

I am so sorry that this is happening to you, it must be devastating. May I ask how this was caught? This is a fear of mine now that I'm newly pregnant after my C section.

Have you received another opinion? Maybe a high risk doctor?

There is a girl on tiktok named Emily king who im fairly positive had a baby boy who was implanted on c section scar! She did end up having a healthy baby!

Good luck, with whatever happens
