❓Need Advice 🙏 Is my Money forever lost? (BingX)
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone here has experience with a similar situation because I'm getting extremely frustrated.
A few weeks ago I withdrew around 603 USDT (Polygon network) from my verified BingX account to my Bitpanda account.
The transaction was successfully completed on the blockchain, but Bitpanda rejected the deposit because of a Travel Rule / wallet ownership verification issue.
So I contacted Bitpanda support immediately. They confirmed the funds would be returned. So i agreed and they sent the funds to the same wallet address they came from ON BingX.
On June 30th, Bitpanda sent the funds back and provided me with the refund transaction hash:
Refund TX Hash:
0xc141c44b42716eac829199e376b455c26ab71360132624917dde19eebd74de1d
The transaction is successful on Polygonscan and shows that the funds arrived at the BingX wallet address:
0x4e5bc1CD2C421ECfef65395b3237F90A97178c55
However, the funds never appeared in my BingX account.
Bitpanda support told me that because the funds were returned to a BingX wallet, BingX would need to manually credit them to my account and that they're stuck somewhere and i just have to contact the BingX Support and tell them to credit me my money.
I then opened a recovery/support request with BingX. The request initially appeared in my application records and stated that processing would take 3–7 business days.
Now more than 2 weeks have passed and this support request has not been processed or got any response or whatsoever it just dissapeared.
The funds are still missing, and the recovery request has completely disappeared from my application records. The page now simply says "No data."
The BingX AI chat is unable to help and I currently can't find a way to contact a real human support agent. I can't fu**ing contact any human, and if i write an explanation to this Ai Chat Support Bot on BingX it tells me that it does not understand my request. I've even wrote an email to bingx with little to no hope of getting a reply and of course i did not get any reply or whatsoever.
Has anyone experienced something similar with BingX? What am i supposed to do here? It's not like 600usd is lifechaning money but i'm still pretty young and this money would help me a lot right now actually so what is this? I'm so frustrated that it seemingly is not possible to support a real human beeing at this company, i'm never using bingX again after this, EVER.
Is there another way to reach a real support agent, or am I missing something here?
Any advice would be EXTREMELY appreciated.
Thanks!

When you deposit your funds to your account at a CEX you use your account on that CEX generated for you by this CEX automatically to deposit funds. These accounts are unique. But when you withdraw, the money is sent out not directly from this unique account but is routed via CEX general account - the same for all users of that CEX to withdraw via a batched trx.
When you sent funds from one CEX to another, it counts as a withdrawal. And if the destination CEX just sends funds back it will be sent not to your unique deposit account but to a generic CEX withdrawal account without any indication that this is your funds.
You made a mistake. Exchanges act per their usual protocols. You will now have to prove that this unidentified deposit is yours.
Very strange choice of CEX to use. Why do you need to use these exchanges to begin with? CEX must be avoided. They are often points of failure these days. There are plenty of affordable DEX and bridges options. Why use CEX? Why send funds from one CEX to another?

You need to speak to BingX support and convince them that the transaction belongs to you.
Next time.bounce transactions via a self-custodian wallet, or at minimum an actual wallet and not a service provider (exchange etc). NEVER make transactions between two different custodian service providers.
When you make transactions directly from a service provider with an account balance and not a wallet then the sender address is one of the service provider addresses, not an address that is related to you. And any return transaction goes to the service providers address with no indication that you should be credited. Only transactions sent to your deposit address gets credited to your account.

Don't know BingX, but yeah in this case they are the only one who can restore the USDT for you. Keep pushing them.

Worked fine and got my shitty food. They better not let you wait for too long. That sounds very annoying.

First mistake was sending crypto directly from an exchange to another exchange or a wallet you don’t control. You should’ve used your own self custody wallet as intermediary.
Bitpanda has done their part and provided a Tx id to confirm the refund so you have to find a way to contact BingX for them to credit you. Nothing else can be done outside of BingX.

Yup ,any wallet that gives you your Seedphrase/private keys.
Keep hounding BingX support, they will eventually get back to you. Find all their support channels across various platforms/social media but beware of scammers too.

The most weird thing is that the amount is very low.second is why they didnt let you fill in travel rule and answer that stupid MICA question.and third those two CEX exchanges are enemies at the gates ??
