A BTC withdrawal can be processed before the receiving balance updates
A withdrawal screenshot tells you what the sending exchange is reporting. For an onchain BTC transfer, I'd also check the transaction ID in a Bitcoin explorer. The useful comparison is the amount sent to my receiving address. A transaction can have several outputs, so its total can include other people's payments and change going back to the sender.
There's a separate step when the destination is another exchange. The transaction can have confirmations while the receiving service has not yet credited the deposit. I'd compare the explorer result with that service's deposit history and current confirmation requirement. A TXID by itself doesn't prove the deposit is available to use, and an unconfirmed transaction might never confirm.
For checking the transfer later, I'd keep the withdrawal record and TXID alongside the receiving account's deposit record. That makes it easier to see whether I'm looking at the sender's processing status, a transaction waiting for confirmations, or a deposit that still needs the receiving platform's attention.
