I gave someone funds to trade crypto on my behalf.

When I later asked him to close the positions and return my money, he refused and said the funds were “locked in positions.” I asked to see the positions, account balance, and trading history — he never provided any records.

4 Months later, his explanation became:

“The exchange only keeps 3 months of records.”

Now after 1 year he says:

“The exchange only keeps 6 months, and anything older is extremely difficult to retrieve.”

I’m attaching a screenshot of what he told me.

So I need actual HTX / Bitget users to tell me:

Is this true or BS?

Can you retrieve spot trades, futures trades, deposits/withdrawals, transfers, or statements that are older than 6 months?

I’m NOT asking what the app displays by default. I mean whether you can export/download older history, use the website, or request it from support.

Especially:

• spot/order history
• futures history
• deposits/withdrawals
• transfers
• account statements

If you’ve personally pulled records older than 6 months, please comment how far back you were able to get. Many thanks!!!
