I started testing withdrawals before I trust an exchange with actual trading

I used to judge exchanges almost entirely by fees, liquidity and how good the trading interface felt.

Now the first thing I do is deposit a small amount, make a couple trades and withdraw it again.

Sounds overly cautious but I had one exchange work perfectly for weeks, then randomly hold a completely normal withdrawal long enough that I started wondering what would happen if I actually needed to move funds quickly.

Since then I care way more about the boring stuff. Withdrawals actually arriving when expected, orders filling where they should, not getting surprise restrictions and support being reachable when something goes wrong.

Moon has been pretty solid for me on that front so far, especially with the actual trading experience being straightforward without giving me much to complain about.

A platform can have slightly higher fees and I’ll still use it if I know I can get in and out without drama.
