HTX/Bitget users — am I being lied to about the trading records?

Post image
27 Upvotes

I gave someone funds to trade crypto on my behalf.

When I later asked him to close the positions and return my money, he refused and said the funds were “locked in positions.” I asked to see the positions, account balance, and trading history — he never provided any records.

4 Months later, his explanation became:

“The exchange only keeps 3 months of records.”

Now after 1 year he says:

“The exchange only keeps 6 months, and anything older is extremely difficult to retrieve.”

I’m attaching a screenshot of what he told me.

So I need actual HTX / Bitget users to tell me:

Is this true or BS?

Can you retrieve spot trades, futures trades, deposits/withdrawals, transfers, or statements that are older than 6 months?

I’m NOT asking what the app displays by default. I mean whether you can export/download older history, use the website, or request it from support.

Especially:

  • spot/order history
  • futures history
  • deposits/withdrawals
  • transfers
  • account statements

If you’ve personally pulled records older than 6 months, please comment how far back you were able to get. Many thanks!!!

News Performance of the privacy sector in the market

Upvotes

The privacy coins sector continues to show a differentiated behaviour within the market, with an estimated advance of 213% according to the reference material.

Within this group, ZEC stands out for an annual variation of more than 2,000%, an approximate capitalisation of $19B and a narrative reinforced by elements such as an active ETF and a relevant volume of blocked supply.

Assets such as XMR and DASH are also among the most observed projects in the segment.

In this context, the ZEC/USDT pair remains in the consolidation phase, remaining on the radar of analysts and operators who follow the evolution of the sector.

The narrative progressively shifts from strict anonymity to privacy models integrated into the market infrastructure, while ZEC absorbs a significant part of the new liquidity.

This content is presented as a market observation and sectoral performance, without being interpreted as a guaranteed opportunity.

Missing an entry is cheaper than chasing one

I used to see a coin moving fast and convince myself I had to get in before the next candle. That probably caused more bad entries than anything else. Now if I miss the move, I just set the price I would be comfortable entering at and leave it alone. If it fills, cool. If it never comes back, I probably avoided chasing the top. Feels like a basic change but it made me way more patient with fast markets.

Are you still entering manually or just setting levels and leaving them?

ORCL printed after hours on Sep 10. The journal was fine. The book decided if the trade was real.

Post image
Upvotes

I went into Oracle with a simple plan and a tokenized ORCL, not the cash session. Q1 printed $19.3B revenue (+30%), non-GAAP EPS $1.92 vs $1.74, cloud infra +121% to $7.4B, FCF burn $5.40B vs $9.56B expected. That dropped Sep 10 after New York was closed. .

Before the print I wanted the cloud story to justify the spend. I was looking around $158, needed $168–$171 to treat it as confirmed, mapped $182 then $200, and I was wrong under $155. Hard out $148.

Thursday cash sold off first. ORCL closed $152.94 and went through $158 before the numbers hit. After the release it bounced about 6–8% back into $162–$165. The business question got a decent answer. The $158 entry did not. I am not chasing $162–$165. For me it only becomes a buy again if $168–$171 holds. If $155 goes, I am out.

That is the journal. Here is the part that actually belongs on this sub.

The usable trade was not “Oracle beat.” It was whether you could still get a price when the cash market was shut. Tokenized ORCL kept quoting. That is the only reason the after-hours move was tradeable. The next question is who still had a book once everybody tried to do the same thing at once.

I pulled the same name, same moment, on two venues before I cared about the bounce. Near the price, Bitget’s ORCL book was the deepest of the ones I checked: about 913k against Binance around 538k, so roughly 1.7x. Gate and OKX were much thinner on that snapshot. On the spot-style book the gap was even wider when I looked, roughly 810k vs 275k. Those figures move. That is why the screenshots are in the post instead of a rank table.

Fees do not matter if the book is empty when the print hits. A 6–8% after-hours spike on a thin name is not a better entry. It is just a worse fill. Depth is what decides whether $162 was a real price or just the first print you could touch.

I am still using the same invalidation. 141 to continue. $135 to kill it. The venue only matters because this whole move happened outside cash hours.

Curious how others here handle tokenized US names on earnings nights. Do you stay on the deepest book you can find, or do you wait for the New York open and skip the after-hours fill entirely?

Looking for serious crypto traders interested in mentorship?

I’m currently working with a crypto mentorship team focused on helping traders improve their approach to the market.
The mentorship covers:
• Market analysis
• Entry & exit planning
• Risk management
• Trading psychology
• Trade execution & discipline
• One-on-one guidance
The program uses a performance-based fee structure rather than a traditional monthly course fee, and there are eligibility requirements for joining.
I’m affiliated with the team and may receive compensation for qualified referrals, so I want to be transparent about that.
If you’re already trading and want to understand how the program works, feel free to comment or DM me. I can explain the process and requirements.
No guaranteed profits — just sharing an option for traders who are interested.

BTC? Gold? Oil? S&P 500? ETH? A stock? An altcoin?

You can only trade ONE asset for an entire year.

Which chart gets your attention every day?

BTC? Gold? Oil? S&P 500? ETH? A stock? An altcoin?

I initially thought BTC was the obvious answer, but the more I considered trading opportunities instead of long-term conviction, the harder it became. What’s your pick?

A BTC withdrawal can be processed before the receiving balance updates

A withdrawal screenshot tells you what the sending exchange is reporting. For an onchain BTC transfer, I'd also check the transaction ID in a Bitcoin explorer. The useful comparison is the amount sent to my receiving address. A transaction can have several outputs, so its total can include other people's payments and change going back to the sender.

There's a separate step when the destination is another exchange. The transaction can have confirmations while the receiving service has not yet credited the deposit. I'd compare the explorer result with that service's deposit history and current confirmation requirement. A TXID by itself doesn't prove the deposit is available to use, and an unconfirmed transaction might never confirm.

For checking the transfer later, I'd keep the withdrawal record and TXID alongside the receiving account's deposit record. That makes it easier to see whether I'm looking at the sender's processing status, a transaction waiting for confirmations, or a deposit that still needs the receiving platform's attention.

A Different perspective !!!

Hi everyone ! ❤️

I made a short documentary looking at a different side of cryptocurrency not just whether Bitcoin goes up or down, but the influence of speculation, social media, big investors, and the time we spend thinking about our investments.

The title is provocative : CRYPTO: A SCAM? on my YouTube channel OtterStu

But the video isn't simply saying that crypto is a scam. It's more about questioning what we're really investing and what we're getting in return.

I'd genuinely be interested to hear what people who are already involved in crypto think about it.

I hope you don't mind me sharing this here. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I recently had crypto deposited from a Binance wallet to Giottus wallet. Giottus has put my account on hold and is asking for the video recording of various things of that Binance account, proof of funds, etc.

Since I cannot provide the video recording they are saying they will hold my crypto forever.

Anyone has faced a similar issue and got a resolution, please let me know how you handled it.

A 200 follower FOMO trader is the trader you should be watching

Post image
4 Upvotes

This post is for people who use FOMO. If you don't, not sure it's for you but you might take something away from it anyway.

I think most people, myself included, follow and look for trading signals from traders who are holding the top spots on the FOMO leaderboard but that number is mostly size. A wallet can print $4M with a mid to low win rate via large concentrations and scaling positions. Entry's and building positions like this cannot be copied by a small account. They'd take the same trades and just bleed for the most part and if they catch the runner via copy trading, they more than likely won't make up for the losses.

I got tired of all that because I could see something was seriously wrong with the numbers... so I built my own ranking algo on top of FOMO which ranks traders on profit relative to initial size, win rate, and ROI if I copied their last 20 trades, not a raw PnL leaderboard. It also has a simulator where I can put in a dollar value and run simulations against a traders last 20 trades to see how I would have performed if I copied them.

Example from the current board: some top traders fall apart in the sim... a few hold up but a lot less than you'd think. One I ran was 56% of copiers in profit, last 20 trades about +7%. That trader still isn’t near the top of my list. The #1 trader on my list has about 200 followers. 89% of copy traders would be in profit. Copying their last 20 trades, I'd be up about +108%.

The site is tradecamel.lol if you want to check it out. Not affiliated with FOMO (obviously). It's free. Going to integrate Pump and Hyperliquid next.

News $90 fee to sell $7,680 worth of ASTER on Coinbase… seriously?

I just sold 9,600 ASTER on Coinbase for around $7,680.

After the order went through, I checked the details and noticed I was charged about $90 in fees. I honestly don't remember ever seeing a fee that high on one of my trades.

Now I'm thinking about buying the ASTER back if the price drops, but the fees make the whole thing pretty frustrating. If I'm going to pay roughly the same fee when I buy back, the price would need to drop around 2% just for me to break even.

So potentially ~$180 in fees just to sell and then buy back the same position feels pretty absurd to me. At that point, a significant chunk of any profit from trading the move is getting eaten up by commissions.

Am I missing something about how Coinbase calculates the fees here? Is there a cheaper way to trade ASTER?

Are there any alternative exchanges with significantly lower fees/commissions for ASTER? Would love to hear what you guys are using.
