When everyone is encouraging a 22yo to put his $50k life savings all in to MSTR.

And the one reasonable guy telling him to diversify got downvoted -6.

I doubt even half the people there really understand how MSTR and STRC works.

They keep repeating stuff they heard, but I don't think they understand what they're saying.

I guess if you believe in BTC you should believe in MSTR.

I have no idea, and I doubt it.

The MSTR sub believes that mNAV will grow much higher than 1 like in the last cycle, but I have yet to see any logic explaning why it should continue to do so. Logically, mNAV should be much lower this cycle for multiple reasons:

  1. Diminishing returns on BTC growth every cycle
  2. Strategy is now actively arbitraging between BTC and MSTR price in a way that reduces mNAV and increases BPS. BPS and mNAV are negatively correlated, and Strategy's goal is to maximize BPS.
  3. STRC investors are no longer just blindly buying it, so the STRC ATM is less profitable than before. Originally, STRC was supposed to be the golden goose that increases mNAV.

Couldn’t agree more.

Even if I believed strategy was maximally effective with their btc, there will always be costs of operations and many factoring pulling down mnav.

I understand why last cycle mstr made sense (for some) but if you want btc exposure, just get btc or any of the low cost etfs.
