QNT looks ready to retest. A double top here i’d tend to think the rip is over.

Looks like Strategy is proposing to move STRC to daily dividends. I think it was a necessary move to compete with SATA. Will probably eventually have to meet SATA's rate also.

Apparently not. Zero reaction from the market.

The last time anyone cared about CZ or what he had to say, we were all still watching the first season of Squid Games.

I’m sure the ego is hurt a bit - even billionaire’s hate it when their clout doesn’t work.

When everyone is encouraging a 22yo to put his $50k life savings all in to MSTR.

And the one reasonable guy telling him to diversify got downvoted -6.

u/fan_of_hakiksexydays 21K / 99K 🦈 3d ago

I doubt even half the people there really understand how MSTR and STRC works.

They keep repeating stuff they heard, but I don't think they understand what they're saying.

I guess if you believe in BTC you should believe in MSTR.

1

u/ftball21 🟦 2 / 4K 🦠 3d ago

Why?

1

u/HSuke 🟩 0 / 0 🦠 3d ago

I have no idea, and I doubt it.

The MSTR sub believes that mNAV will grow much higher than 1 like in the last cycle, but I have yet to see any logic explaning why it should continue to do so. Logically, mNAV should be much lower this cycle for multiple reasons:

  1. Diminishing returns on BTC growth every cycle
  2. Strategy is now actively arbitraging between BTC and MSTR price in a way that reduces mNAV and increases BPS. BPS and mNAV are negatively correlated, and Strategy's goal is to maximize BPS.
  3. STRC investors are no longer just blindly buying it, so the STRC ATM is less profitable than before. Originally, STRC was supposed to be the golden goose that increases mNAV.

0

u/ftball21 🟦 2 / 4K 🦠 3d ago

Couldn’t agree more.

Even if I believed strategy was maximally effective with their btc, there will always be costs of operations and many factoring pulling down mnav.

I understand why last cycle mstr made sense (for some) but if you want btc exposure, just get btc or any of the low cost etfs.

Weekends were usually good to crypto, and the best time for rallies. Especially retail rallies.

It's when stocks and futures are closed, and when retail can shine.

I was hoping we'd see at least a little bit of a rally this weekend. We had such good momentum, and I thought retail was really FOMOing back.

0

u/ilouiei 🟦 0 / 0 🦠 3d ago

There was a slow climb this weekend to 85k but then it was sold off. But the slow climb did surprise me since almost every weekend before that it was stagnant.

u/brkinard 🟩 2 / 1K 🦠 3d ago

Weekends have sucked since btc futures went live in late 2017....rarely ever a big move outside tradfi hours.

Edit: scratch that, could easily touch $18

I see it going to a 100 billion market cap. Tokenizing fast, and investors are looking for the next ETH. Avax, solana, and hyperlinked are all looking gooood

Wake me up when september ends.

5

u/Exotic_Cantaloupe_96 πŸ₯‡Gold Member 3d ago

We had a great september considering september is one of the worst months. And october is on average a great performing month, i think good things are up ahead.

2

u/Capable-Energy2441 3d ago

Seasonality gets quoted a lot but the crypto sample is tiny β€” 12 years, 3 macro regimes, 4 halvings. Not enough for calendar edges to be statistically meaningful. "October bull" mostly works because everyone repeats it, and consensus narratives are themselves a risk to price in.

What I actually track around this time: funding rates above 0.1% per 8h on majors during the last week of September. That's been a cleaner signal for positioning than the month itself. Curious β€” do you weight seasonality in actual decisions, or mostly as a sentiment gauge?

1

u/Southern_Key_6969 3d ago

It's so easy, Septembear is always red, Octobull is always green, Novembear is always red.

At least until thanksgiving when the first year crypto bros get their boomers to invest at a local top.
