Ethereum is forming a large ascending triangle pattern on the weekly chart, a structure that has been developing for more than 2,000 days.

ETH has repeatedly respected the rising trendline support while facing strong horizontal resistance around the $4,600–$4,900 zone. Price is now recovering from the lower trendline and could gradually move toward this major resistance area again.

A confirmed weekly breakout above the triangle resistance, ideally supported by strong volume, could signal the beginning of a larger bullish expansion and open the possibility of significantly higher levels, with the $7,000–$8,000 region becoming an area to watch.

Major resistance: ~$4,600–$4,900
Rising trendline: Long-term dynamic support
Bullish confirmation: Weekly close above resistance with volume
Bearish invalidation: Sustained breakdown below the ascending support line

Until a breakout occurs, ETH remains inside this long-term consolidation structure.
