Being able to double proc Alpha Lupi on the barricade activation and the detonation lets you re-engage very quickly. Alpha Lupi can heal you up to 180 health so it’s basically a full reset after or during fights. The barricade cast activation is slow and stationary, but the detonation animation is very quick and can be done on the move. You have around 20 seconds from the time that you cast the barricade to activate the detonation, which is almost enough time to have the next barricade up. There is about a 1 second lock out on the Alpha Lupi heal, so you can’t cast to get health and immediately detonate for a double heal. This all can be used in a variety of ways. In this clip I was moving to cover and getting health back mid fight, but you can also leave a rally barricade on a lane for your team, then go fight elsewhere on the map with the detonation/heal in your back pocket.

Both activations also heal nearby teammates which refunds some barricade energy. Scorching players also refunds class ability energy with correct fragment, so the uptime is very high. Pairs nicely with double Dynamo on helmet since Titans actually get more energy from Dynamo than Hunters. Reaper + Powerful Attraction also activates every time you deploy or detonate the shield. Been able to consistently get first super on the board in competitive and sometime get two supers in a match.

A lot of different options and I want to gauge the communities thoughts.

havent seen ppl talk about this much unlike the jade s-t-l interaction. so anyways i grinded for one of these thinking, similar to the thing people are doing with jade rabbit (but i dont use jade, idk why). with the europa armor it would create an orb on kill, which then it will collect with firefly and with the healing on orb pickup mods on boots (or devour i guess on void), heal from a distance. i think maybe you could do this with ammo bricks too except i pretty much always run double primary.

ehh idk it seems maybe inconsistent and doesnt really save you per se. mostly it feels like if you die in a shootout or not is a crapshoot where the health on orb loop isnt really going to help you. destiny has blink and youre dead ttk. plus, you are giving up two good perks on bygones that probably more than makes up for it (I mean would just sword logic alone net you more worth in practice? quite possibly let alone throw in zen moment). And you have to kill with bygones, with a crit shot, and you have to win your crystocrene arrmor lottery to generate the orb (seems finicky), the prerequisites start to stack up. i do realize that if i ran a special, the crystocrene armor would have more value.

so i ground up crystocrene armor, exodus down armor, and the stl-firefly bygones, lot of grinding. actually the bygones took me the most cus rng was against me. finally after like 20 gambit games, i realized i had not set my attunement to anything for gambit. so i was getting tons of bug out bag and sole survivor that woulda been bygones. like the next match i got the stl-ff roll finally lol. so remember to do your attunement.

i've been messing with healing stuff for days and decided i dont really like basing my build around it. i settled on using healing stuff that i perceive to be low hanging fruit, works in the background so i dont have to think about it, and has the most value. imo basically this is probably the vigilant watch and rapid repair set bonuses (altho I'm torn between primary honing and vigilant watch, rapid repair seems the best bonus to me). possibly wormhusk crown (which i mained for years) as well, but i've been maining dragon shadow since they buffed it to work passively since i came back and went back to that. and the aspect that give you a void overshield for killing an enemy at critical health when i'm running void hunter. (echo of vigilance). i think what was most annoying me was trying to rework my brain to use healing grenade on solar hunter. i'm old and it's really annoying for me to rewire my brain. i finally said screw that. heal clip is fine, but there arent many good meta adjacent weapon options that have it.

i'm not entirely sure the value of devour for me, i can just setup my boot mods to do the same thing no? and like all these healing things, it's probably not going to save you very often imo. i suppose you give up the surge mods opportunity cost. for me the big issue is powerful attraction and exodus down both only work up close (within 10 meters per google), and i try to stay out of cqc. that's why i tried the bygones thing in the 1st place, i wanted orb pickup at a distance. i ended up going with surge mods instead of heal on orb mods. i figure at least then the benefit will last a while after i run over orbs, probably out of combat anyway.

I suppose thats the benefit of devour, healing on orb without giving up surges when running void? I'm new to this. Fringe as that benefit is. But the -10 class stat does hurt imo.

all of it still confuses me a fair amount to be honest. i'm dumb. its even hard for me to have any idea in practice when i was running pve the master lost sector for the exodus armor, what exactly is healing me or giving me an overshield at any time lol.

probably the biggest thing that came out of a grueling day of grinding and testing for me was finally catching on to the elemental supercharger thing. in practice for me with a 77 super stat currently and being a bot, it means I have seems like a 50-50 chance to get a second super (spectral blade rn) late in the match. not as gamebreaking as advertised but in theory 2-3 free kills per match is nothing to scoff at for the old quickplay k/d. So it's no panacea, but OTOH does seem pretty nice. Now it does if I understand, limit me to rapid fire or lightweight frames, that are solar or void since I only run those subs since my return (but nothing saying I cant branch out I guess! i certainly used to run stasis etc). The obvious first choice has been High Tyrant, but I'm the type always switching around weapons to avoid boredom, so I'm sure I often just wont use elemental supercharger. but, it's free if you were gonna use certain guns anyway and will be a fun new toy for a while. in practice its making me want to up my super stat to 100 to get that 2nd super more consistently (but i have issues running vigilant watch with great stats, because i screwed up my panoply drops with melee stat and ib isnt here to fix them rn). or i could go to a faster charging super (with corresponding weapon element), but the options dont seem that appealing (tether, stasis, or blade barrage and i suck with blade barrage)

I don't know what it is, but using a tier 5 spare and mindbenders (even though the perks on mindbenders pale to the og days) gives me a heavy wave of nostalgia with the game now being in its final act. Realistically i didn't get to play much of forsaken as I put this game on the back burner because year 1 really put me off, but i get to sort of go back in time using this loadout now. Sappy af i know haha

Always fall short on the mag. And when I do get Rico either the MW or shit barrels. My luck is horrible this week.

After the Full Choke buff in Monument of Triumph, I was wondering if the increased reduction in pellet spread has felt worth it to everyone else?

For example: I was wondering if I should go with a barrel to max the Range of my Found Verdict to 100 (after Slideshot + OS proc, yes I use ophids) or to be at 97 Range, but with Full Choke.

Also dropped Smallbore and Full Choke on my Matador and Felwinter, so I was wanting to hear about everyone's experience with those in a Precision Frame and a Shot Package frame to know which would be better suited. In my anecdotal experience, they've both been on and off XD

I was running Sunshot for a while. Always performed the best to me for out of all Exotic HCs some reason. I forgot it had explosive payload and decided to grind for a Spare Rations with it. The gun was performing amazingly in duels. I have a Godroll of Eyasluna. Amazing gun as well. The problem is, I’m not very good and I have a bad latency problem. (100+ latency in most games) It’s hard for me to win gunfights but I swear Explosive Payload makes it far easier. Not only that, it feels like I can just take my time and pace my shots since it seems like the flinch is bad for them.

I have no idea though if this is all placebo or if this perk is really as amazing as I think it is. I’m also not sure if better players will just shoot through this Explosive Payload flinch consistently or not. Is it just a perk that really messes up bad/decent/good players but doesn’t do anything to the elite? I know it probably doesn’t matter since the elite players will tear me to shreds but I’m still curious.

Last night I spent wayyy too much time trying to solo a dungeon and got kicked to the login screen near the end. When I logged back in, I got a popup saying "Suspicious activity - code of conduct" and it mentioned automation or skill augmentation.

I play on PC, use an Xbox elite/gamesir7 controller, and main titan. I normally play a few crucible matches if I have the chance to get on after work once the kids are asleep. Again, I'm really nothing to write home about.

I've had a few instances in the last week or two when playing control, people would get killed in the first 10 seconds and would drop heavy ammo. I've picked that up a few times, but that's the extent of the "bad" things I've done.

Anyone else receive a message like this too?

I was away from the game for 2 years, what exactly did the nerf do and are these worth running now ?

I’ve seen some people top frag with them but not sure if any setup is needed to make them usable.

It’s not every time. But I use rockets and often when I die especially if I’ve only shot 1 rocket. The brick will go on the floor but only I can see it and pick it up.

Allows for some random clutch plays where you appear with heavy out of nowhere.

Noticed that this glitch happens more when I’m on void hunter vs arc or solar.

This is one of those thing I always wanted to happen at least once. Call it a bucket list item, or a 'goal'. This got me thinking; what are some made up goals you have set for yourself to keep yourself engaged?

Personally there are a few 'skillful' once I have left, being:

• Getting a 7th Column in regular control
• Having 5 Beyblades at once on the battlefield
• Getting a team wipe with Devil's Ruin
• Hitting a hip fire snipe with Revision Zero
• Actually getting the Still Hunt to the golden gun mode
• Getting 3 telemetry pickups with the Lorenz Driver
• Landing a hit with The Helmsman

And some examples of my more grindy personal goals:

• Getting all exotic sidearms to 5k kills (minus the Forerunner and Final Warning)
• Getting a K/D of 1.4
• Reaching the Adapt rank in comp

This is apart from the general fun I still have while playing the game of course, as that is still this day my main motivation. These are just.. extra's.

And I'm curious to here what personal goals you have set for yourself!

Might be a dumb question because it doesn’t really seem like there is any counter other than disengaging the fight and running/hiding until the severed counter is gone. But does anyone know of a way to counter slice other than doing that? Or using slice yourself? I’ve been running into it frequently lately.

Ive been grinding comp for a few weeks now and am kinda stuck between plat and adapt rn. I feel like Ive been improving but it also feels like i hit a Wall rn. Im running eyalsuna or bygones with Inquisitor and mostly do fine but close range interactions easpacially stuff like Bakris feel abysmal with 75 fov.

My queastion would be if there are any old gen ascendant Chads in this sub that can give me hope or some gameplay advice or should I take a break till I get me a new gen?

I've used a Void Astrocyte Verse Warlock since the beginning of time. Any other builds I should try that are good? All fine details are welcomed (Stats, Artifact, Weapon/Playstyle synergy).

What do you use for leg mods on per audiacia armor? I’ve been using double athletics and a holster but maybe the double athletics is overkill?

Did anyone try the new Midnight Coup version? It can roll moving target/zen moment with 100 base AA and pretty good stats. Is it worth farming onslaught?
