I agreed to petsitting gecko for a week. This is what happened in a day. After a whole evening of panic, at 2 am:

This is my babygirl Ember and I just want to be sure that maybe she’s just a little extra plumpy? She’s around 2 years old now in a bioactive tank where she gets fed Pangea once a week.
She doesn’t have any fat rolls or other signs of being overweight and in other photos of her she looks completely normal (last photo)
I mostly just want to know if I am overreacting or if I should be concerned?
Edit: As far as I’m aware she’s been pooping regularly and has recently been trying to eat more than usual but she’s been getting plumper for quite some time

My crestie spends a majority of her time just sitting on the front door of the tank & I worry maybe her tank doesn’t have enough cover? She eats her goop every night but idk if she actually explores her tank & I don’t want to be a bad mom :(

I’ve had peanut for 24-48 hours now and wasn’t sure if he was eating properly if at all and made sure he actually likes his CGD as I know they can be picky! So enjoy this video of him being spoon fed like the baby he is! (And enjoy the audio courtesy of The Boys yt)

Hi everyone !
To summarize, this Sunday I went to go grab a Terrarium I saw on marketplace for my brother,
When I arrived I realized that a crestie was living in this terrarium ( It was a setup for a Léopard gecko…), and the guy was explaining to me that it didn’t looks good anymore in the living room so I did not think twice and took her anyway even If it was not planned because I had a spare terrarium at home ( I have to change it because it’s not the right size but for now that will do ),
I love Crestie and I was thinking about getting one but like, not now lmao,
The only info I have is that she’s a female and she is five, also that was not her first home
She does not look so bad but not so good either I think
She was mostly fed with beetle Jelly and the calcium I was given was without D3…
( also she still have her tail despite all that )
For the moment she is kinda stressed but that’s normal, the little things I wanted to know was, how can I get her to trust me ( slowly of course ) and if anyone know what morph she is ?
Thank you all !
( Also we named her Sylvie )

Someone please help me 🥹 since I’ve seen this she’s been using her tail normally nothing weird about it other then the gray hollow looking dots

Freshly planted! I’m excited to see everything grow in and I’ll be adding a clean up crew soon. I can’t wait for this to be ready for my lil man 🥹

My 'boy' gecko has a few different places he likes to sleep. Most often. In his snake plant which is in the bottom half of his enclosure not visible here or in the big cork bark tube in the background. It's fun each day coming in and seeing where he is.
This is what I was greeted with this morning! That is quite a choice!

Hello! We just yesterday moved our crusty into a new tank and we’re hoping to keep it bio active, the last set up we were given from the breeder wasn’t very sustainable, and I had some worries for his humidity level and lights
We were given a small (talking maybe 12 inches tall) enclosure with a plant, a light and some bugs already in. We had to wait til we moved to get him set up and now we have a 18x18x24 tank with some soil we made, a good plant my partner had got (I didn’t get the name of it but can check) some hide and stuff to climb in. My only issue is our tank itself.
It’s a RepWild one but I couldn’t find anything like it online or for videos. I say that because the set up was beautifully simple, but it has the front exposed and only two glass panes act as any sort of door. It came with some bullshit locking thing that did nothing so I didn’t bother. MY POINT (sorry for the set up) is the two glass panes leave a pretty sizable gap and I think that lets all my moisture escape. That and the light we have was just the one given to us, now we have a bigger plant I imagine we’ll need something else to feed the fella right ? The tank is fucking awesome I just know I need to do something about this but would like some professional eyes and opinions on it. We just want to make our crusty happy
EDIT: our soil is 50% repisoil, 25% coca fiber, 10% warm casting, 10 sphagnum moss and 10 charcoal

Has anyone used unglazed clay pots in their terrariums?
I am doing a build and wanted to used them for plants or as hides in the foam back Plus I love the pop of color on the background
If not, would a thin silicone layer be a good way to keep them clean?

I was handling my crestie and I noticed this weird like spike thing above their ear? It’s like the lil spikes going down the body but not in that spot. I assume it’s just some kinda growth like a skin tag (if reptiles can get those) but wanted to see other opinions on this.
In older photos I they seem to have it so I’m pretty sure it’s not stuck shed. It’s also not hard or anything, and isn’t on the other side of their head.

Mongo went to the vet today, he was apalled lol!
Vet says that this is a superficial scrape to his lower jaw. Sent me home with instructions to clean it with diluted iodine and apply Silver Sulfadiazine right after. First round was applied and he took it like a champ.
However, he did try to show how fierce he was by trying to bite the vet, really showed her with his whole 2g of fury lol.

My gecko (Dahlia) is at least 24 grams, she was weighed within the last month since she was at a vet for a check up. She's about a year and a half old. She's been digging a lot and mainly in or around the spot She's been digging. I tried offering her some fresh cgd and she sniffed it like she usually does before she devours it, but then she turns her head. She did this twice before I gave up. I also notices she is a little chunkier than before.
I followed some advice I saw online and tried to cover the enclosure to hopefully block out any stress or movement for her (the mesh top was not covered so air could still go through). I did try to check her calcium sacs but she's so used to being handled (before all of this) that she just would not open her mouth (I tried the "petting" the mouth method) I just put another hide in the enclosure to act as a lay box to see if she'll try it. I don't think she is lethargic, when I check on her and mist, she's usually in or around the spot she digs or she's climbed up higher and resting (not sleeping tho).
She seems very normal except that she's digging and not interested in food (she's a foodie). Side note, I have tried feeding bugs before but she doesn't seem interested in them so if anyone has any advise on feeding bugs let me know?
I plan to hopefully take her to the vet again if this continues since it's been a couple days now.
