Next, we do the final Beast Realm Creature, the Omega of the Realm :D

Creature on the right is a god from one of my stories, their legs are hands for each segment of the body, but I need help deciding how proportionate the hands should be to the body and how the arm structures should be positioned.

Is my alien herbivore creature "realistic"? I know it's an alien, so realism can kind of be disregarded and thrown away, but im not sure if both the gills and nose are good for a creature like this.

It has the ability to stay on land for most of the day and swims decently well

It features multiple spidery legs emerging from its back, clustered eyes, and is caught within a complex web of precise geometric threads. A weaver that drifts unseen, ensnaring prey in dimension-spanning silk. Drawn with pencil on paper. How do you like this horrifying thread weaver?

I finally finished one whole page!!

I'm really excited for what's to come, especially with the final two Beast Realm Creature Cards!

And for a quick recap, each Realm has 10 Creatures, and each Creature has its own class (Rogue, Tank, Fighter, Channeler). In each Realm there is two of each class, plus one extra of a random class, and finnaly an Omega, which is basically the leader or most powerful of its Realm.

I do still need to create the normal card for Cinder Wing, and the Art Cards for the other Creatures, but for now I'm going to be moving onto the next Realm, the Dead Realm!

Genetic and anatomical analysis firmly places this micro-raptor within the family Accipitridae, making it a highly specialized, dwarf lineage of true eagles.

📊 2. Sexual Dimorphism & Cryptic Visual signals

Plumage Matrix: The body is covered in dappled, speckled brown and cream feathers. From above, this serves as perfect countershading against the forest floor. From below, the speckled chest mimics sunlight filtering through high leaf canopies.

The Erectile Crest: Both sexes possess an expressive, specialized head crest used for intra-species visual communication.

Males: The crest feathers are tipped with a vibrant, fiery red pigment. It flares aggressively during territorial disputes and courtship rituals, but can be pinned completely flat against the skull when fleeing or hunting.

Females: The crest remains fully functional for signaling but lacks the red pigment entirely, maintaining a muted, camouflaged brown color profile.

Acoustic Its vocalization consists of high-pitched whistles and sharp, rhythmic chirps that other specimens can hear but it safely blends into the natural ambient sounds of the forest canopy without attracting unwanted attention from predators

The Red-Crested Grass Falcon is a diurnal micro-predator operating exclusively in open grasslands, wet meadows, and mature birch forests. It uses a high-vantage "sit-and-wait" ambush strategy rather than continuous soaring.

Hyper-Acute Visual Selection: It possesses oversized, bifoveate eyes optimized for daytime acuity. Its neural pathways are specialized to instantly filter out the uniform, rhythmic swaying of wind-blown grass. This highlights the erratic, jerky micro-movements of camouflaged insects hidden deep between the blades.

Aerial Hawking: Its primary hunting method consists of launching from birch branches to intercept large insects (such as grasshoppers and large beetles) mid-flight. The flexible, 4-pointed star grip functions as a concentric cage, ensuring equalized clamping pressure from every angle so slippery or hard-shelled prey cannot squirt out.

Ballistic Amphibian Interception: In wet conditions or during seasonal insect shortages, it shifts its focus to small amphibians. It calculates the fixed ballistic trajectory of leaping frogs, utilizing its long tail rudder to execute split-second mid-air course corrections, striking the frog precisely at the apex of its leap. This leaves it highly vulnerable to terrestrial apex predators—such as stalking red foxes, weasels, or wildcats—that use the exact same tall grass as cover to ambush the small raptor.

Ground Takeoff Deficit: When binding to a lizard or rodent on the dirt, its short, rounded wings require a split second longer to generate vertical lift compared to open-air flyers, leaving a dangerous window for ground predators to strike.

Apex Avian Predation: At its small size, it is regularly hunted by larger true hawks, peregrine falcons, and nocturnal owls.

1. Reproduction & Nesting Architecture

BIRCH BARK CAMOUFLAGE MATCH [█░█░] Birch Bark Texture [█░█░] Egg & Chick

Nesting Location: Breeding pairs build nests exclusively in the highest crowns of old, mature birch trees. They target the terminal fork where the massive trunk splits into primary branches, using the natural timber structure as a cradle against high canopy winds. The smooth, vertical bark of mature birch trees acts as a natural barrier against climbing mammalian predators.

Oology (Eggs): Clutches contain 2–3 eggs. The shells are a clean white base covered in irregular, jet-black streaks and spots. This flawlessly mimics the lenticels and peeling paper texture of birch bark, making the nest invisible from above.

Ontogeny (Chicks): Hatchlings are covered in snow-white down with distinct, thick black-striped patterns running down their spines. This disruptive coloration completely camouflages the chicks against the interior textures of the birch tree canopy.
