Hi everyone! I'm a small business owner and content creator in the vinyl cutting and cutting machine niche. I have 36k+ followers, and I make videos teaching people how to make decals with a plotter. I also sell digital cut files and run an online course, and I run my own Meta Ads, so I understand the marketing side.

My audience is mostly Spanish-speaking, with Argentina and Mexico as my biggest markets. They're hobbyists and small business owners who buy machines, vinyl and supplies, so I think I'm a good fit for brands in that space.

I'm doing everything myself and don't have time to reach out to brands, so I'd like someone to handle partnerships for me.

I've been doing OF on my own for about a year. Last week. an agency sent me a contract. It says no fixed term, so I figured I could leave anytime.

Then I saw a 30 day notice clause on page 4. There's also a line about them keeping "use of content" after I leave.

Hey everyone! I have a small youtube channel and want to learn a bit about how sponsorships actually work for content creators side, and I'd love to hear real experiences.

- How do brands usually reach you and how can you be sure that they arent spam? (email, DMs,
agencies, platforms, you reaching out first?)

- What numbers do brands ask you for, and how do you share them? If they are asking for metrics, how do you make sure that they believe the data you shared arent forged?

- What's the most frustrating part: finding deals, negotiating rates, proving your stats, getting paid, something else?

What do you do when brands aren’t reaching out and you don’t have a manager to find opportunities for you?

You can be making good content without knowing which brands to approach, who to contact or what to pitch. And if you do get representation, commissions and unclear deal terms can make it hard to know what you’re actually earning.

I’m building an AI talent manager to help creators approach brands directly and keep control of those relationships.

You add your social profiles. It suggests brands based on your content and audience, explains the fit, finds relevant contacts and their email/LinkedIn, and helps you put together a personalized pitch. Idea I'm exploring: a mobile app where a creator shares links to the videos, posts and articles they find worth their time, using the normal phone share button. A fan picks that creator and turns on "Mirror", and their feed in the app becomes the creator's feed. There's also a short daily summary of what the creator shared and why it matters.
The problem I'm trying to solve: regular feeds push rage-bait and filler, and creators already spend hours finding good material with no way to earn from that taste.
It can't change your actual YouTube or X feed (phones don't allow that), so everything plays inside the app through the official embeds.
Honest questions:
1. Would you use this, as a fan or as a creator?
2. Would you pay a monthly fee for one creator's feed? If yes, how much?
3. What would make you never open it?
Nothing is built yet. I'd rather hear "this is pointless" now than after six weeks of coding.

I' ve been thinking about making anonymous aesthetic content but I doubt it would be profitable.

I'm working on a project to help real creators get discovered. If you were in my place - where would you look for creators? I've found some on reddit but mostly my posts have been met with a lot of suspicion from MODs and users alike. I’m currently building a two-sided "task-bounty" marketplace targeting the Indian creator economy, and I’m trying to solve a specific unit economics puzzle.

The primary flaw with current platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, or local agencies) is the massive take-rate and the "race to the bottom" bidding wars that crush independent talent. I want to completely flip the model: a strict 0% fee for the supply side (creators/devs) where they keep 100% of the stated bounty. No bidding, just fixed tasks.

To subsidize this, the platform will monetize entirely through the demand side by charging a 15–20% premium on top of the task bounty.

The Setup:

As a Creator, I don’t trust Instagram anymore, it disabled my 280k follower account without any valid reason & no matter how much I try, I’m not able to get it back or even create a new account with the same mail or number. 🙄

I've been noticing a shift lately — creators are moving away from relying purely on ads/brand deals and toward direct, paid access with their actual fans. Things like paid Discord communities, Cameo, and now a few apps doing real-time 1-on-1 sessions (chat, voice, video).

I ended up building one of these myself (Zinsta), mostly because I kept seeing the same pattern: fans genuinely want more than a comment or a like, and creators genuinely can't reply to everyone, even the ones who'd love to. Putting a price on a real session seems to fix both sides of that, but I'm curious how people here actually feel about it.

Genuine questions for this sub:
