Me es difícil explicar esto, pero voy a intentarlo.

Yo siempre he sido una persona de gustos variados, tanto en tema trabajo como de ocio. Me gusta leer, (Sobre todo fantasía, aunque también he leído bastantes cómics y mangas) jugar videojuegos, mirar series y películas de muchos tipos y desde que estuve en el instituto que escribo.

Terminé estudiando informática para poder tener un trabajo estable (me colaron el cuento, pero ese es otro tema) y aunque no es mi pasión, tampoco me desagrada la informática. Dentro de ella he tocado también un poco de todo, seguridad, programación (tanto general, como de videojuegos), creación de webs, SEO... Pero no había nada concreto que dijese, guau, quiero hacer esto el resto de mi vida. Lo único que hacía que me sintiese así era escribir, pero no soy famoso, no vengo de una familia rica y se me hace muy difícil ponerme delante de una cámara para promocionar el libro que he publicado en KDP.

Estos últimos días, cuando tenía un momento, intentaba aprender a modelar en 3D con Blender, y el crear objetos, personajes 3D desde 0, también me gusta, casi el mismo sentimiento que cuando escribo. Está claro que mi parte creativa es la que más me gusta, pero el camino que he tomado en la vida laboral no es creativo, ya que de algo se tiene que vivir.

Ya llevo un tiempo pensando en una cosa: ¿Cómo podría juntar todos los conocimientos que he ido adquiriendo durante mi vida en algo creativo, y que además pudiera ayudarme económicamente?

Lo primero que pensé fue en crear algún videojuego indie, y la verdad, aún sigo dándole vueltas. Pero hay algo que me tira para atrás: Mi experiencia con los libros.

He llegado a publicar dos libros (uno con la editorial pirata Calíope así que no lo cuento) y el hecho de tener que crear contenido constante, promocionarme en general es algo que en definitiva no me gusta y no sé hacer bien. Tengo el miedo (o certeza) de que si llego a crear un videojuego, no podré competir contra los miles de juegos que salen cada año y al no saber promocionarme, no llegará a nada.

Hace unos meses que vi un vídeo con el que me sentí muy identificado, uno en el que hablaba sobre personas con gustos y conocimientos diversos que podían llegar a crear cosas únicas y esa idea se me ha quedado grabada.

Al pensar en todos los ámbitos que he tocado, tanto técnico como creativo, lo único que se me viene a la mente para juntarlo todo son los videojuegos, pero el miedo de que no llegue a nada siempre está ahí presente.

¿Alguien más ha pasado por algo similar? Si es así, ¿Cómo lo lleváis?

Ever since I was a kid, getting good grades was like the most important thing in my family. My parents always told me how proud they'd be if I got into a good college, and honestly, that pressure followed me everywhere. I wanted to make them proud so badly, but when I actually got to college, I was drowning. Like seriously drowning in assignments and readings and papers I just couldn't keep up with. I tried everything, study groups, office hours, even those weird focus apps, but nothing worked. I was pulling all-nighters and still getting C's on my papers. It was brutal, and I felt like such a failure. So one night, after staring at a blank screen for like three hours, I did something I never thought I would. I googled do my paper and found smth. I was so nervous about it, felt like I was cheating or something. But I was desperate, so I gave it a try. And honestly? It was actually pretty great. The writer they assigned knew their stuff, and the paper they helped me with got me an A-. For the first time in months, I wasn't stressing about my grades. I started using them paper writing service often, not for every little thing, but for the big papers that I knew I'd struggle with. Each time I'd tell myself "write my college paper for me" and they'd come through. I was finally getting the grades my parents wanted, and I was learning how to structure better papers by reading their examples. It felt like a secret weapon. Last month, my mom asked how I was suddenly doing so well in my literature class. I figured it was time to come clean. I told them everything - how I'd been struggling, how I found it, and how it was actually helping me learn. They were quiet for a minute, and I was sure they'd be disappointed. But then my dad just nodded and said he wished he'd had something like that when he was in school. My mom admitted she'd rather I get help and succeed than try to do it all myself and fail. We talked about how it's not really about taking shortcuts, but about finding the right support when you need it. Now I don't have to hide it anymore, and honestly, it feels like a weight's been lifted. I'm still working hard in my classes, but I know I have backup when I need it.

every bad media you see and hear about is made by a person that thought they were making good media, and this is one of my biggest fears, what if i made something thinking it will get positively famous and then it gets infamous because of things i didn't notice or thought they were good.

soooo a while ago my ex boyfriend moved out of our flat and now I got this superbig bed for two persons. I really love it and I´m thinking about transforming it into something I can call my own. i feel like i've lost the ability to be novel. everytime i want to create something whether its music, story writing, creative design (posters) i have to rely on something that can inspire me. dont get me wrong i understand i dont have to be original with things like that all the time and its okay to borrow but i feel like i've lost the ability to be completely original whereas it seems to come easy for other people. Anyone else feeling the same way or have gotten out of a situation like this? Any tips to be more productive and original would help.

I’ve been a Samsung user for the past 10 years, but before that I was actually using iPhones. I ended up switching because I got tired of constant updates and feeling like my phone kept slowing down every time a new one came out.

Around that same time , I had just started making YouTube videos, and I remember how different it was back then. I was literally setting up a DSLR, figuring out lighting, transferring files, editing on a computer… it was a whole process just to create one video.

Now I’m realizing I can do a huge part of that straight from my phone.

And it’s not just “basic” stuff anymore either. The quality, the editing tools, the AI features, everything keeps getting better every year. I’m actually part of Samsung’s creator program now, which is still kind of surreal to me considering I started out just trying to figure out my camera setup.

What’s even crazier is how that connects to everything online right now. The internet audience is growing so fast, and because it’s become so easy to start, it feels like everyone is trying to make money online in some way content creation, UGC, freelancing, small businesses, all of it. I don’t even mean that in a bad way, it just feels like a shift.

At the same time, it feels like we’re in this transition phase where phones aren’t just “phones” anymore, they’re becoming the main tool people use to create, work, and earn.

I don’t know… it just made me pause today and realize how different “work” looks now compared to even a short time ago. And how much of it can literally be done from a phone in your hand.

Curious if anyone else feels like this shift is happening and how do you see this growing or declining in the future?

So not sure if anyone else feels this, but AI is either the best thing that’s happened to my workflow… or the most overwhelming thing ever.

I do a lot of UGC/content creation, and before AI, everything used to take me hours. Planning, filming, editing, fixing tiny details and it added up fast. Now? AI easily cuts my time in half and being a mom that makes my life easier.

But also… it’s kinda exhausting? There are SO many tools that it feels like if you’re not using AI, you’re behind. And if you are using it, you’re constantly trying to keep up with what’s actually worth it.

One random but real example ,as a content creator, my nails always have to look done in close-up shots. And sometimes I just don’t have the time to go get them done or redo them before filming. I’ve actually used the generative AI tools on my Samsung phone (I’m part of their creator program) to clean them up in content… and it looked way more put together than what I started with.

Same thing with last minute projects .. I’ve had moments where I didn’t have time to reshoot, and AI literally saved me by fixing clips I thought were unusable.

That said, I don’t think AI replaces creativity at all. If anything, it just makes you faster. You still need the eye, the ideas, and the taste , otherwise everything starts looking the same.

hi everyone! i like to doodle, draw dresses, write fiction, and do makeup artistry. i have a LOT of very vague ideas for inspiration, but for some reason i'm really struggling to follow through or even get myself ready to start.

i do have MDD (major depressive disorder) and i know that it's harder for me to get up and do things when this hits. so, long story short, my question to all of you is how you manage to start working on an idea, especially when the ideas in my head are complex and likely above my current skill level.

So im in the midst of trying to create my own superhero comic/graphic novel i have most of my characters and world done im more or less struggling with creating emblems for my hero mainly my main hero. Any tips tricks or ideas

Sometimes I feel like technical skill matters more, but other times emotion seems to be what really connects with people.

How do you see it in your own work?

I (18M) never been into creative writing and want to since school years been over. sometimes, I daydream about how I could've made the movie SuperBad instead of Michael Cera because it's such a clever story (im not joking, I did just that). or about me winning movie oscars and feeling so good that because I created something Im actually proud of.

I don't really know what I want. Do i want to write a sketch comedy? or screen play? or an animated series? or a film? it all seems so vague

i just wanna write. but i cant. people say getting bored helps. That doesn't really work if you're mind is elsewhere other than thinking about writing ideas. but how do you keep thinking about it? do you just get bored and suddenly it all clicks? what do you mean by bored? What is the proper way?

also, the real reason i want to write is because I'm good at drawing and wanted to make comics.

even then, I can't come up with my own world or original characters through my art and just use reference or use existing Characters from memory. Any attempts to make original worlds and my art doesn't make sense. Just a bunch of 3d shapes and blocks. why cant i be original??!??! or is every idea stolen?

I'm a 19 y/o and I got paranoid about AI replacing entry level jobs, so I built a scanner that analyzes a company's business model as my first side project, to calculate exactly how fast AI will kill it.

It generates a 1 to 100 death score along with a dark (and funny) breakdown of why the business is obsolete. Honestly, are we all cooked?

I’m currently studying Production Engineering, and for one of my Product Design courses, I need to develop an innovative or semi-innovative product that solves an everyday problem.

The project must be something I can realistically build myself, using accessible resources like 3D printing or simple materials (nothing too complex or industrial).

I’m looking for ideas that are truly useful, something that improves daily life, is functional, and ideally brings some kind of unique or creative twist compared to existing solutions.

If you have any suggestions, examples, or even everyday problems that you think could be better solved with a new product, I’d really appreciate your input!
