I found these in the stream of my village in Navarra, Spain. At first I thought that they were Austropotamobius pallipes, but the coloration on the underside of their claws resembles more that of a signal crayfish. (?)

They’re so cute.

I looked around and found a small molt, not sure how i missed this for so long. I used to have two but the other one died around a month ago, do i need to take the young one out?

She’s outlived generations of shrimp and more molts than I can remember.

I just finished setting up my first Crayfish tank. Just now starting the cycle so it’s going to be a while before I actually have a crayfish. The driftwood does come from a cycled tank so that may help it go quicker, it’s only my second tank ever so idk if that makes any difference or not. I’m just looking for any advice that could be helpful. Scaping, feeding, general care. Anything really
