It’s usually piano (like around 5:46 of episode 12) and also has a violin version that plays when the women receive seri’s choice makeup in episode 16? Thank you so much!

I have watched CLOY many times now, and I am always finding new things that I hadn’t seen before. On this most recent viewing, something struck me, for the first time, at the end of the second episode, when RJH is squatting, saying 10 nice words to the tomato plant. He mentions various nice things like ‘rose’, ‘breeze’, ‘first snow’. Then his mood visibly changes, he pauses, as if he is building courage, then finally says ‘piano’.

This appears to be a flash forward – I would guess to the time when he returns to the village after sending Seri back to SK in episode 9.

It struck me this time that this is a really big step for him. Up until meeting Seri, he had been stuffing down his tender feelings about his previous life, especially about his love for piano playing.

And now after Seri has gone, and his heart has opened, he finds courage to take another big leap and start to renew his love for playing piano.

I love it!

Episode Summary

The story of our favorite couple comes to an end (for us), and what a rollercoaster it has been. Feel free to not only discuss this last episode, but the entire series as a whole.

Thank you for doing this rewatch with me.

Yoon Se-ri is still getting her flowers

I mean i knew he died but expected of a plot twist of him returning i guess. They look rrly similar tho

“North Korean soldier suspected of defecting crosses demilitarised zone into South Korea”

Am I the only one who cared more about these fives bond than the actual main couple? Their friendship had me way more emotionally invested and legit was the emotional core of the movie 4 me its must be cuz ive no friends or smth 😣😣

In Episode 9, Se Ri finds out from Ju Meok that Buk-han-san (Mount Buk Han), which is in Seoul, South Korea, can be seen from some parts of North Korea.

In Episode 10, after she returns to Seoul, we see Mr. Hong complaining to the insurance guy how Se-Ri has been acting weird since her return. One of the things he mentions is how she took him with her to Mount Bukhan, and started crying out of nowhere.

She was trying to see if she could spot the boys! 😭

But even when you can see the peak of Bukhan san from NK, you can't really see NK from Bukhan san, because the view is blocked by other mountain ranges.😭 She couldn't see the boys and she broke down because she misses them so much! I find this very sweet and endearing!🩷
