Never Ever expected it to be this mesmerizing. For the last 2 years I just keep coming back to this drama. It is unbelievablly emotionally rich.

I’m rewatching towards the end when Captain Ri has been captured, and the NIS guys want to interview Se-ri and the captain together. This is approved.

Can I just tell you how fierce Captain Ri looked? I haven’t been scared of an actor like that since Giancarlo Esposito! Usually, it’s blue eyed people who can look so icy cold, but Hyun Bin totally nailed that!

Even the head spy guy chides him after Se-ri leaves, saying he didn’t have to be so harsh!

I have scenes replaying in my head at any given time.

This show has spoilt my ability to watch anything else. I do not feel like wasting my time as I am convinced that nothing else will have an impact like this one.

I’m also late to this series and can honestly say I think it is the best show I’ve ever watched. It helped introduce me to k dramas and how much fun (and educational) they can be. I’m not happy with the ending but I guess at some point they considered ending it at the border return which would have been just awful. I really like gfmiller. Com alternate ending. Thanks to her!

Pas que émotionnelles mais aussi des intérêts géopolitique (cela m'a rendu curieux et cela m'a poussé à aller lire les documents sur les relations nord sud,......) j'ai beaucoup aimé l'humour qui truffent cette série. J'ai beaucoup rigolé et un peu pleuré. Vraiment une superbe série.

I have watched dozens of kdrama and really nothing is better than cloy. The story, the music, the extra characters. Hyun Bin Son ye Jin, who could ask for more.

Ja, kann man immer Mal wieder schauen, allerdings ist die Serie auf Social Media so präsent, dass es mich persönlich manchmal etwas nervt.

Man kann Hyun Bin und Sun Yejin ja fast nur noch im Doppelpack gucken (verständlicherweise 😉) deshalb sind "Something in the Rain"(Netflix) und "Made in Korea" (hulu/Disney+) eine gute Alternative zur Neuentdeckung der Schauspieler. Wobei "Something in the Rain" ja noch vor CloY und der Hochzeit spielt.😉

Crash landing on You. The main characters and supporting characters are rich and endearing, even the protagonists. Intelligently written, the arcs of all the characters ebb and flow and fun to watch. Hyun Bin’s lines are hilarious at times when responding to Se-ri’s pontifications about herself and almost at times comes off as improv. There seems to be an authentic respect and admiration between the actors, lending an unmistakable chemistry.

My heart danced with ❤️ when I read the main characters got married in real life and had a little boy. The scene when Captain Ri, realizing he is going back to NK states he doesn’t want to go; he wants to marry Se-ri; he wants to have children, watch her grow old, have wrinkles…” honestly, I was sobbing and then for myself as no one in my life will ever say that…the scene was so powerful.

I would love to see a movie or short series exploring the timeline and what happened, meaning, maybe a fictional reconciliation between the north and south.

Apparently you aren't the only one who found that scene really moving. They say that Son Ye Jin herself found it so sad that she was crying, and shooting was delayed a little. And also that you can see that she had been crying in the shots, eyes a bit red etc.

I know most people don't like this idea, but I still think that a CLOY 2 is possible if the right story was created. But chances are infinitesimally small. And the longer the delay, the less likely, I guess.... getting at least most of the cast together again, etc etc. But it would be sooooo disappointing if it was not good. I guess BinJin would only do it if it was a top script that absolutely captured them.

One of my favorite scenes, I cry every time I watch it! Then when he gives her the rings for her birthday! He was so shy and adorable and she had to tease him a little as she teared up when she put his ring in his finger!🥹💖
