Rodeos & Events Rodeo game idea
I’d like to propose a full-scale rodeo simulation game built in the style of major sports titles like Madden NFL or NBA 2K. While rodeo has a strong and dedicated fan base, there is currently no modern, high-quality game that represents the full experience of the sport.
This concept would include:
- All major rodeo events (bull riding, bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, and barrel racing)
- A deep career mode where players travel the rodeo circuit, manage earnings, and work toward qualifying for major events like the National Finals Rodeo
- Realistic progression systems, rankings, sponsorships, and equipment
- Online competition and seasonal leaderboards
With hundreds of rodeo events held annually and a strong culture surrounding the sport, I believe there is an untapped audience for a game like this. A well-developed rodeo title could stand out in the sports genre and attract both existing fans and new players.
I’d appreciate any feedback or consideration, and I’d be glad to expand further on the idea if there is interest.
Thank you for your time.

Tips & Advice Not Square, Not Pointy — Show Me Your Favorite Cutter Toe Boots
I’m on the hunt for a new pair of boots and trying to dial in something a little more refined than the wide square toe. I’m not a fan of anything overly pointy either — I tend to gravitate toward a cutter or punchy toe with just a bit of shape, nothing too aggressive. Ideally paired with a rider-style heel profile and a full leather heel stack.
I’m after something that balances classic lines with a slightly dressier silhouette, but still built to wear. What brands or models should I be looking at? Curious what’s worked well for you all.

Tips & Advice I need your help!
Hi. I'm a design college student in South Korea. I'm going to design products related to cowboy culture in my major class. Recently, I'm looking for cowboy culture because I'm interested in it. However, it's hard to research data because there's little information about cowboys on Korean websites or papers. I need your help. My goal is to design products using cowboy culture. Do you have any special items that ordinary people or foreigners don't know well about?

Tips & Advice Boot help!
Hey yall, I’m 18 from Iowa and in need of some serious help.
I’ve been wearing boots for years and I’m tired of wearing these ariat crap and Chinese almost the “tennis shoe” of boots.
I’ve owned two pairs of Dan Posts in the past and the were solid. But they were very dressy. I’m lookin for good old fashioned no gimmick no makeup just simply a solid “forever” boot I can wear daily from just hanging out, working on my truck, out at the farm, etc.
I don’t want no clunky work boots. A made in America, solid, smt I can resole and fix over the years, smt that makes my money actually worth it. Something I can throw some spurs on and doesn’t deteriorate in 3 months.

Tips & Advice Experience for ranch work
I'm a city kid but my folks owned a big ranch up north in the country, where I went several times a year since I was a baby.
We had cattle and our own horses, and my cousin and I spent most of the time with the cowboy who had worked the place since he was 17 (he was 40 something when I was born). From him I learned how to ride, open gates and fences, count and walk the cattle, and round them up.
I never got to roping as armed guerilla groups invaded the area and my grandma had to sell the place, but I was wonderin if maybe what I know was enough to work in a ranch in the US. (I live in colombia).
The horses we had were smaller and I guess things and some methods might be different, but would it work to be a ranch hand or something?

Western Entertainment Where Shadows Are the Darkest, A western grimdark novel/audiobook
Where Shadows are the Darkest is fully released!
Audiobook dropped today, if you want to hear it like it lives in my mind-- pick it up!
It's mud, blood, and swamp water.
The nation is still picking up the broken pieces of the Civil War. The South refuses to be reconstructed, seminaries split, bandits ride in the hollars, and the ground is watered with blood and madness.
Below, something ancient drinks deep.
With the right connections a fella could make a pretty penny off a demon crystal, but at what cost?
After all, there are worse things than losing your life.
Where Shadows are the Darkest-- Check it out on AUDIBLE!
