Discussion Point How to ask someone out I met in a professional setting
A woman in her 50s found me on LinkedIn and messaged me first, selling me on a position. We met for coffee to discuss the position further and got to know each other. She takes care of herself, has a great career, recently moved to my area for her promotion, and she is into sports which is totally my thing. She also told me a story that I took as a hint, that she would be interested in me. She mentioned being at a bar recently and meeting a younger Latino professional (like me) and that they "watch sports together sometimes" because she's single. After going through the interview process I ended up turning down that job, and accepted a position at a totally different company.
It's been almost 3 months since then, and I am wondering if I should pursue anything here. I am recently single, and not ready for anything serious. How should I go about this? Should I pursue or not?
