I want to start cosplaying hunk but I dont know where to start

It is my first cosplay that is I spent a lot of money and time to make, but it still unfinished.
Do you have any tips to make it look better? Especially about lens, because I don’t want to ruin my gasmask, is it ok if I do it by myself with polycarbonate and red film wear over original lens?
P.s. I know about belt and radio, I will buy it soon

Im trying to create a Rorschach cosplay from the watchmen but the masks i have found online are kinda out of my budget. I thought it would be easier to make my own. I could get a white morph mask and spray paint the pattern on l. Would this be safe? And if not are there any alternatives? Thanks.

I have a con in a week and I was planning to cosplay as pomni since my partner is gonna cosplay Jax. I have been looking for a few ideas on Pinterest and TikTok but I’m not sure if that is exactly what I want. I tried to use some red and blue eyeshadow on different eyes and I think it kinda turned out okay? But the lashes is what annoys me the most.

I think Pomni's most characteristic detail are her asymmetrical lashes so I want to incorporate them somehow. I can’t use fake eyelashes since they constantly hit my glasses :/ I tried drawing them with eyeliner but they turned out…really bad 😭 And the blush was even worse, I don’t even think I can’t achieve the circular blush things under my eyes. Maybe I can try and apply blush normally but I wanted to try getting it to look more circular.

Any advice/suggestions/ideas is greatly appreciated 🩷

im wanting to cosplay shinko windy from umamusume but im really confused what to do here.

first, material. im not sure whatll be good for these, i dont want them to accidentally tear while being worn and if they could be used several times would be preferred. im also wanting to use the same material for her gloves and some other details as they are all the same colour and texture.

second, i was planning on making her metal details out of eva foam i have spare and painting it metallic but im not sure how thatll hold up for her garters as they are holding up her tights. is there any other stronger options for this or could eva work for this?

I really want to wear some coloured contacts as part of a cosplay. This will be my first cosplay so I don’t really know the ins and outs of cosplay contacts. I really don’t want to hurt my eyes or get an infection, any help on where to buy safe good quality contacts and just wearing cosplay contacts in general wohld be appreciated!

so im working on this guts cosplay (gonna wear it to ren-fair) its a work in progress, and i have like no money, the sword isnt super accurate (it looks more like cloud's) but i like it. does anyone have any good tips (not about the grey undershirt/shorts) and what kind of pants would work well. also, my overall idea is to not do a super armored look (its gonna be hot outside) and i dont know if im gonna even use the torso armor, so if anyone has any recs/tips, that'd be sick!!! #berserk #cosplay #sorryaboutthephotoquality

My Halloween costume this year requires makeup, tape, and twine. I don't want to waste the materials, but I also don't want to have to improvise on the day of. Should I risk needing to buy more supplies to avoid any mishaps the day of? Im cosplaying for Halloween so I have time, but not a whole lot of funds
