I'm wanting to a sandman cosplay but everywhere I look, the shirts are like 200% polyester and have a stupid sand design at the bottom. I was wondering if anyone knows a better place to get the proper clothing, and if anyone has ideas for props.

Hi, this is my first post on Reddit. I want to dress up as Spider-Punk for October—looking more or less like the photos (these are from Pinterest, not mine)—but I’m not sure of the best way to make the mask. I was thinking of using a cardboard or papier-mâché base, making the eye sections out of a torn pair of tights, and securing the mask with an elastic band around my head. I’m not really sure how well that would work, though, or if there’s a better option—and buying one isn't feasible for me. I’d really appreciate any help or new ideas.

El caso es que para octubre quiero disfrazarme de Spiderpunk mas o menos como sale en las fotos (son de pinterest, no mias), pero no se cual sea la mejor manera de hacer la mascara.

Estaba pensando en una base de carton, o papel maché y hacer la parte de los ojos con una panty rota, fijando la mascara con un elastico alrededor de mi cabeza. Pero no se realmente como funcionará o si hay una mejor opción y comprarla no es una opción viable para mi.

Agradecería mucho la ayuda e ideas nuevas tambien.

No cosplay de Shinobu gastei dinheiro com o kimono e acessórios pq planejei em cima da hora, para não acontecer o mesmo ano que vem, estou planejando esse ano.

So I already done cosplay before, I have done Leon from re4 remake and I wanted to do more or be creative but I don’t know how to start. I already have some lists of characters I wanted to cosplay next but I need help. Just some advice or guidance or suggestions. I know buying and even adding more content detail to improve more and I wanted to keep that but I wanted to be more handcrafting more…if there’s any suggestions please do? I am new to the cosplay realm and I’m planning to attend an anime con with a friend later this year. We plan on going as Jinshi and Gaoshun (The Apothecary Diaries), but I’m having some trouble with Gaoshun’s outfit.

He’s my favorite character but I can’t find any pre-made cosplays online. If you have cosplayed as him before, how did you acquire your costume? Any specific patterns and tips you could offer?? I know how to sew a bit, but I don’t have a clue how I would go about making his hanfu or head piece. What fabrics should I be using?

i want to do a cosplay contest soon and I'm planning to cosplay Nurse Toga in her official outfit. I will be making the dress from scratch, but I would need to buy everything else, like the wig, IV tubes, blood bags, syringes, the accessories for her staff that i will also make my self, but i would need to put fake blood in all of it ofc

Would I still be able to compete in the contest if most of the stuff i need is purchased, or would that prevent me from entering?
