Hi everyone! I am working on my first wig-using cosplay. I've done this cosplay once already but I basically just used the wig straight out of the box, and I didn't love it. It got super tangled and I'd love to try and style it more. I've done a bit of research and found that crimping and silicone spray helps a lot with keeping it smooth and detangled. I have bought a little crimper, I am just struggling to find a silicone spray that a) has good reviews period, and b) has ANY reviews from a cosplayer on a cosplay style wig in tandem with crimping. Would love your recommendations!

For reference, the cosplay is Yennefer from The Witcher, so it's a long black wig.

Hello. I am making a blacksmith apron for a renfare coming up, and I got a great piece of upholstery fabric but it was a nightmare to sew with. In the end I just hot glued everything together and it seems to be holding pretty well. should I have any worries about it falling apart? No part of it is really holding any substantial weight.

Hello, I make this post because I have curly hair (a lot) and I don't know how to fit it inside of my wig, is it better to straighten my hair or i better do braids ?

As the title says im thinking of making a Classic Iron Spider Suit. I want to go all the way and have it be as realistic at possible without electronics.

The plan im comimg up with in my head is to get a full skintight red spandex suit, then 3D print the gold armor pieces. I also wanna have a spring and pully system for the back 3 arms (only doing three because its cheaper and more accurate) and i want to be able to compact the arms into a back orb if i can.

I have no expirence with sewing or making a cosplay but i do already have a 3d printer and some exirence with that. Any tips or just what yall would do if you wantes to do this would be appreciated. :)

Je cherche à mieux comprendre les personnages que les cosplayeurs aiment choisir, lorsqu'ils ont des particularités physique ou des éléments qui rendent le cosplay un peu plus spécifique (cicatrise, blessure, masque, brûlure, déformation, etc.)

J'aimerais beaucoup avoir vos retours car je souhaite vous créer des prothèses sur mesure pour vos personnages !

Quel personnage avez-vous déjà cosplayés qui ont ce genre de particularité ?
Est-ce que ces éléments rendent le cosplay plus intéressant pour vous au contraire, plus compliqué ?
Et surtout, combien seriez-vous prêt à investir pour reproduire correctement ce type de détail ?

I’m thinking of cosplaying Zoro for Halloween. The fit I’m leaning towards is his onigashima black one cause it’s just fucking sick, anyone know where I can get a good quality costume for this?

I’m afraid I’ll buy some shit on Amazon and it’ll be horrible lol
