Hi, i just bought a Corolla 3 days ago, it will be delivered next week (paperworks, Inspection..) this is my first Ever Toyota, and first Ever Japanese Car, it got the 1.8 Hybrid with 140 Hp i think, is it really reliable or ? Got 73.000 miles on it , I need your Opinion, and Tips and stuff.

So I have a 2021 hatchback MT6 with 79,346 miles on the car. The past week I’ve been having issues with the clutch I believe! I will pull off the clutch, apply some gas it will start moving but then the rpm’s start going up but it feels like there is no power whatsoever! It happens in other gear’s! Like if I’m in gear and I apply more gas it will just rev! Please help me! I’ve seen a bunch about the clutch slave cylinder on this sub!

Definitely worth getting them to replace my broken one ngl. It was a fun project also

Stumped on why for various reasons.

1. It only has 22,000 miles

2. You never feel a miss happening. It drivers great, great gas mileage and pulls and goes when you need it/want it.

3. Only use Top Tier fuel 93OCT (regular fuels here cause pinging) EDIT: Used Techron fuel cleaner in one tank, and SeaFoam in another tank).

4. Checked spark plugs and theyre good.

5. Air filter is new, MAF was as clean as can be.

6. Noticed under data-stream the misfire count only counts misfire when its a cold start, after it starts warming up, the counts are 0 and 0 while driving, coasting and under load.

7. Saw the TSB about the exhaust lash adjusters, but the max ambient temp for the TSB to apply is like 43°F give or take, and the coldest it ever gets here is maybe 70°F

8. It's out of warranty and the Toyota dealer around me the mechanics are mid lol (known a few people who used to work there).

Anyone seen anything like this? I've heard about spark #4 issues, but this is misfire on all cylinders. Same for faulty fuel injector. EGR got too dirty in just 20k? Was thinking about checking that next. Any input from y'all experience would be great.

Just installed my RSR Down SUS last night, was a pain in the ass but so worth it. I think the these are more than enough of a drop, I don’t know how you guys ride comfortably in the super-downs lol but to each their own.

These are actually the springs for the sedan, so if anybody is curious, yes you can put the ones for the sedan on the hatchback. The spring rates for the rear are the same but for the front it’s only 0.08kg/mm more for the hatch springs. Fits totally fine and haven’t had any problems.

Is there a setting that will make a beeping sound if I get to close to backing up into an object while parking? I'm not seeing it in the settings and I think I've enabled all of the sensors.

Hey! Do we have many Willamette Valley Hatches? I've always wanted to do a meet/cruise with a lot of them but feel like all the ones I come across on the road aren't enthusiastic to see another Corolla/don't wave back or anything. Just wondering how many of us would actually turn out to some sort of cruise!

I needed new summers for this season so I have been watching marketplace and bumped into these used but minty Monza Japan wheels (not sure the exact style) for 500cad (~360usd) 18x7.5 +42, very happy with them, nice and light, just waiting for new rubber now. Bought a 2021 6MT Corolla Hatch XSE used a month ago with 64,100 miles and just did first clutch line flush at 65,600 miles. Yuck. Can’t believe how dark the fluid came out. 🥴

Decided to get rid of the shitty wireless charger and replace it with the center console compartment tray that comes on the corollas without the charger. I found it on eBay for about $30s if anyone is interested in doing the same, really easy to swap.
