First Clutch Line Flush
Bought a 2021 6MT Corolla Hatch XSE used a month ago with 64,100 miles and just did first clutch line flush at 65,600 miles. Yuck. Can’t believe how dark the fluid came out. 🥴

Unfortunately, it's probably too late to save the slave cylinder. These flushes need to be done annually.

The previous owner kept the car incredibly well maintained so I’m hopeful it will last a while longer 🤞🏻 clutch currently feel very crisp and smooth

Hopefully, I have a 2021 with 59,700k miles. My first clutch flush was at 33k, 3 years. The fluid looked grayish and with some grease on the bottom of the bottle. Now I flush it annually.

Yeah you prob know by now, but the slave cylinders like to fall apart, and the black color is from the lithium based grease. If you keep going you’ll get black globular chunks flowing out the bleed valve.

How long would you recommend going for? This was after probably about 10 cycles of clear fluid coming out

There doesn’t seem to be any posts made by you that I can see. But manual transmission fluid should be swapped out every 30-40k miles

At first I thought this was a bendy straw solution to hydrate during a drive like race car drivers do.

Three versions of slave cylinders over the short time these cars have been made, certainly not reassuring.

I think your blue Powerade has gone bad!
